The "legs" on this mat raise it high enough that food particles are NOT trapped under the mat - Perfect. The pre-marked cutting lines did not match our drain location so I just put the mat in the sink and marked where the hole should be with a Sharpie. These are perfect for what I wanted. My old ones were stiff and hard to move around to clean under, but these are super soft and flexible, can bend in any direction. I like they have "little feet" on the under side, it allows water to flow and doesnt hold water under it. Very happy with these !
