I read in the New York Times that the black plastic cooking utensils are bad for you so I went looking for a silicone alternative (I've had my black plasticware for so long I don't know if they were silicone so I trashed them). This set was inexpensive and looked good. You have everything you need in this set. They seem like a quality grade and I love the weight and feel in my hands.
