  • The Sili Glue Roller is made with angled grooves which allow the glue to be worked into the roller and help retain the glue on the roller. The recessed grooves also keep the glue from dripping too quickly and gives you ample time to apply the glue to your project regardless of size. The grooves also allow just enough glue flow-through to keep things rolling with minimal resistance. This also helps to keep the roller from gliding or skating across the wood when applying the glue.
  • The roller itself is a has no protruding metal on one side to allow for flush passes on your glue ups. This means you can apply glue right up against another board and have no worries about marring that work piece. This also makes it easier to glue right up to the edge of your project.
  • Made entirely of silicone rubber, the Sili tray resembles a paint roller tray but on a smaller scale and it is more flexible to easily dispense the adhesives back into the container after you are done. The tray has been designed for use with the Sili Glue Roller (not included and sold separately), however it can be used with any glue brush or applicator that fit within its dimensions.
  • Both the Sili Roller and Tray are of course made from silicone rubber which means they are super easy to clean! You can simply run them under warm water and quickly work the glue off with your fingers. You can also let the glue dry overnight and then crack and peel the glue off revealing a clean, ready to go surface underneath. Either way, its quick and virtually painless to clean the Sili Roller and Tray!

    • Great tool
It works very well for spreading glue. Sometimes the roller gets stuck so it doesn't turn. I like that it works most of the time and makes clean-up a breeze.

    • Great for epoxy!
I used this a couple times for doing wood lamination using epoxy. As I expected/hoped, the fully cured epoxy just peeled right off the roller and popped out of the tray. Great little product, it will see a lot of use.

    • When it works, it's fine
I have run into the same issue others have of it binding up and not rolling in the middle of a job. There needs to be a washer or a bearing to stop it from moving over to the handle curve and getting stuck. It is very easy to clean. Dried glue peels off very easily. It also washes well with dish soap and water. It does "good enough" but could be so much better. ... show more

I love this thing but it does stick now and then. I solved the problem with a 3D printed part. I can't post a link but it is on thingiverse. Just search for "roller spacer". I see that some have used a washer or a spring but if you have a 3D printer this is the way to go.

    • Too expensive for what it is
The glue roller is made out of decent materials, but it's tiny and the roller doesn't roll well. It gets stuck; and while some folks have had success adding a washer for a smoother application, it hasn't worked for me. It should be a ⅓ of the price.

Had a flat roller for a while, it barely rolled with glue. This one that has the spiral grooves in it rolls so much better spreading a perfect amount of glue. Well designed, well made. I love it.
