We bought this cabinet as an extra pantry for COVID quarantine supplies in the short term and for kitchen appliance storage long-term when the need for COVID supplies passes (we hope). I wanted something both roomy and sturdy enough to store many pounds' worth of dry and canned goods without the shelves bowing and cracking. It's been fully loaded for a few weeks now, and even the upper shelf crammed with canned goods is looking great. This cabinet is a perfect size for our space and storage needs and feels like a heavy, quality piece of furniture, unlike a lot of other put-it-together-yourself pieces. It came in far fewer pieces than I expected, which made putting it together pretty easy, although it is QUITE heavy. We love the look of it, again not something I can say about many other put-it-together-yourself pieces. As you can see from the picture, because it's so heavily loaded we took the precaution of putting a prop under the front edge to help prevent tipping. It came with a wall anchor, but this seemed safer and has the added benefit of not putting another hole in our wall. My only complaint is that the doors could be better fitted to the openings. There's a gap of between 1/8" to 3/16" all the way around that won't keep out bugs. But another feature I really like, the legs, keep it a good distance from the floor and I can put supplies in plastic bags if necessary, so that's a relatively minor concern. All in all, this is one of the best furniture purchases I've made in some time. An additional note about delivery: I ordered July 15 and it wasn't delivered until Aug. 6, apparently due to COVID-related supply and transportation issues. What we received is as seen in the attached images, but after opening the box to get ready for the assembly, it’s too hard to repack 200 pounds of furniture for return, so we had to grin and bear it with such a defective piece of furniture. It feels like throwing money away. And actually we left this review on ashleyfurniture.com about two weeks ago but they did not upload our review. We thought Ashley was a better company than that, so we are so disappointed. ... show more

I was looking for something that would match my Ashley desk, for my office. This worked out perfectly. Although it is not from the same line, it’s close enough. The unit is an antique white color with a distressed look, with a darker wood grain top. Assembly was pretty easy, but two people are definitely required. A heavy piece, which is good because it is sturdy. Mine wobbled a bit, but the package provided a shim that you could use to balance out any such issues. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. My only issue with this piece is that it feels like their is no top coat on the paint. My Ashley desk, which is the same color and design, feels smooth to the touch and I can tell that a top coat of some sort was used to seal the paint. This unit feels completely different to the touch, which makes me think that cleaning it will be a problem. ... show more

I was worried when I saw the size and weight of the box when it was delivered but I was able to put it together in 1 1/2 hours start to finish by myself. It is a heavy piece and a great value. I bought it for food storage and there is plenty of room. I even added a can rack. I have an Ashley dining room set and it coordinates perfectly! Love it!!! ... show more

First of all make sure you buy this item on amazon. You will save hundreds from buying it direct from Ashley furniture store and pay no delivery. Its the same item. Putting together is a breeze. the doors are prehung for you and the sides are attached and hinged. Couldn't be any easier. You definitely need two people though..it is seriously heavy. The box was delivered to my front porch and getting it into the house was the hardest part. Its a well made piece. Even though there is some artificial wood it all looks very realistic. It has just enough antiquing to make it look genuine. It is solid. I have a 65 inch tv sitting on top. This is the best deal for a tv console/ sideboard out there. Go to an Ashley furniture store and see their display first hand...then buy it from amazon. ... show more

Love this entry way table. It’s sturdy, easy assembly and looks elegant. Would def recommend. My only complaint is it was uneven when you put the back legs on. The kit comes with levels to even it out which was great.
