I have owned 10" king since 2000. It has been regularly slept in. I purchased it when I moved home to care for sick parent and slept in it for a year.... then for 2 years my 20yr old daughter, son in law and 2 large dogs . My only 100% preventable issue is not so much the mattress but caused by the frame I purchased from different manufacturer and failed to verify measurements. That's my own fault, preventable and hey learned the lesson of verifying so I very much recommend to verify and I personally would only go with solid not slatted. edges like to pop thru the slats ( ****again frame is significantly larger). Mattress sags a bit, the fabric on the mattress decided to make little bumps or "pills"(cannot tell once pad and sheets are on) . At times you can feel the springs around outer egde but do believe that is caused from the slatted metal frame which edges and corners pop between slats so after years of that...Still a very comfy bed though. For the price and kids using it for 2 years as a bed,couch, dog bed, trampoline etc.... it has held up pretty decent from the abuse. As of now it's a spare and visitors often comment how comfortable it is. I would reorder this mattress (maybe smaller out of personal preference). I would be using current one but opened it up in the family room and don't want to even try to get past a larger railing and up 2 flights of stairs.It does weigh 80+ pounds new. ... show more

I needed a bed and fast for an upcoming camping trip in the RV. I had a leak and threw away my old bed right before I was to leave on a trip. I wasn't sure what to do but Amazon was able to get this bed to me in like 3 or 4 days. The Fed Ex guy delivered it to my yard the day we were leaving and we carried it down to the camper and threw the box in to hit the road. I didn't know what to expect because I never had a bed that was this cheap before that came in such a small box. I wish that I was there for the unboxing... I was attending a function the night we got there and my fiance came running in a panic. He exclaimed that he thought that the bed almost tore the camper cabinets off the wall. It must have exploded into shape right when he cut the last cord on the packaging. I don't usually see him that animated but it was hilarious for him to be that worked up about anything. He said that the people outside the camper probably thought that he was shooting a gun off in the camper. He said that each spring made a really loud popping sound as it unrolled. The bed is definitely comfortable enough for the camper for the handful of times that I will get to sleep on it. I like that it is not as thick as some of the mattresses that we have in other places because I will likely be moving it around when I remodel the camper. You can definitely tell that there are springs in the bed when you are crawling across it on your knees but it has enough padding over them while you are sleeping to not notice. I feel like it is supportive and firm enough but not too hard to be uncomfortable. I previously had a tempurpedic style for a few years and I'm definitely back to preferring a spring-style mattress if I had the choice. Overall for the quickness of shipping and the cost, I would purchase it again. I think that if I drove to my local discount store (like thinking Big Lots?) to try to buy a bed, it would have definitely cost more than this one... and it wouldn't have been any more comfortable. ... show more

Update 2023***** It is now October 2023. Almost 4 years since purchasing my king mattress. The mattress has started to give out. Back pain while waking up, dips from where we sleep. I knew it was an inexpensive purchase and wouldn't last like a 10 year mattress would. So here to say I got 4 great sleep years with it and on to the next one! Ok so let me start by saying I did more research on what mattress to purchase than I ever did with ANYTHING school related. I researched mattresses for about a month and had more than 20 in my cart until I finally narrowed it down to this one. I am SO happy I went with my gut and bought this. This was 100% within my price range. I mean a queen for $200? Yes please. Amazon offers the best discount for this specific mattress than any other website even on “Black Friday” and “fourth of July” sales, etc. Delivery was quick, 2 days and came in the form of “bed in a box.” However, I can usually pick up, assemble and throw out all my furniture and big box purchases but this was HEAVY. Be careful if going upstairs and grab some help women! I’m all about being independent but this just wasn’t working lol. After taking it out of the box, it took minutes even seconds to take its form but I allowed 24 hours for it to completely regain its shape. I will say even over the next 2/3 days it was still expanding little by little. The mattress itself is perfect for me and my boyfriend. It’s firm enough where we don’t wake up in pain yet so so so soft and cushion-y. I’ve never owned a better mattress and it’s a quarter of the price of others I’ve had. We’ve now had it about 3 months and there is no sinking in on either side, so far so good. There are always going to be bad reviews and not every mattress works for everyone. But taking the price into consideration, I would tell you to give it a try and take the risk because if you haven’t caught on by now I’m happy we did!
