We purchased this mattress for my 3 year old son as his first "Big boy bed.". All I can say is, wow! For a sub $300 mattress this is so comfortable! We have a $3k mattress that I would put this up against any day, the 10" is perfect! It appears to be sturdy and looks like it will take the abuse of a preschooler jumping on it and rough housing. I got this mattres about a month ago, and I currently have no complaints. When I first opened it, it did have a slight latex/plastic smell, that I could pick up when I put my face close to the mattress. I cracked a window and opened my doors to let it air out, and after a few days it was gone. It also took a day to inflate, which I've heard is normal. It definitely doesn't feel plush, the layer of foam gives it a very medium-firm feel. I weigh about 150 and tend to sleep on my side, and I feel it supports my weight well. It might be best for heavier sleepers like myself, because it doesn't isolate movement at all. If I were sleeping in the bed with someone else I'd likely feel their motions for sure. It only creaks a little bit, with significant motion. I don't believe it ever fully rose to 10 inches, it's just a little short of that when I measure it. I just moved away from my childhood home, so I needed a cheap mattress that would be comfortable to sleep on for another year or two until I can afford a better mattress, and I feel like got what I paid for. I'm satisfied, but not particularly excited or hateful about this product. EDIT: It's been about 6 months with this mattress now, and I hate to say it, but it has started to make my back sore at times and it creaks loudly and constantly. I wish I'd gotten a memory foam mattress. Given my circumstances, I'm not at all upset at this, but it's a shame as I intended to keep the mattress for a year or two and I'll have to replace it as soon as I find the money this year. This might be better for a guest bedroom or a temporary, short-term solution like in my case. If you have the means to invest in a pricier mattress, I would recommend doing that. ... show more

Update 2023***** It is now October 2023. Almost 4 years since purchasing my king mattress. The mattress has started to give out. Back pain while waking up, dips from where we sleep. I knew it was an inexpensive purchase and wouldn't last like a 10 year mattress would. So here to say I got 4 great sleep years with it and on to the next one! Ok so let me start by saying I did more research on what mattress to purchase than I ever did with ANYTHING school related. I researched mattresses for about a month and had more than 20 in my cart until I finally narrowed it down to this one. I am SO happy I went with my gut and bought this. This was 100% within my price range. I mean a queen for $200? Yes please. Amazon offers the best discount for this specific mattress than any other website even on “Black Friday” and “fourth of July” sales, etc. Delivery was quick, 2 days and came in the form of “bed in a box.” However, I can usually pick up, assemble and throw out all my furniture and big box purchases but this was HEAVY. Be careful if going upstairs and grab some help women! I’m all about being independent but this just wasn’t working lol. After taking it out of the box, it took minutes even seconds to take its form but I allowed 24 hours for it to completely regain its shape. I will say even over the next 2/3 days it was still expanding little by little. The mattress itself is perfect for me and my boyfriend. It’s firm enough where we don’t wake up in pain yet so so so soft and cushion-y. I’ve never owned a better mattress and it’s a quarter of the price of others I’ve had. We’ve now had it about 3 months and there is no sinking in on either side, so far so good. There are always going to be bad reviews and not every mattress works for everyone. But taking the price into consideration, I would tell you to give it a try and take the risk because if you haven’t caught on by now I’m happy we did! I bought this mattress for my new college apartment, looking for something on the cheaper side that could still last me at least a couple years. The package came on time, and I had someone to help me get it up the two flights of stairs to my place. Unpacking it was relatively easy, at first I was afraid it would pop up and smack me in the face but if you unroll it slowly that won't happen. I know the box says to let it inflate for 24 hours, but I needed a place to sleep that night so I let it sit for a couple hours before putting sheets on it. My first impression was that its soft, but not too plush. I bought the 10 inch full size, and from what some of the reviews said, this was a medium plush mattress. Maybe I have a different plush mattress standard, but I was expecting to sink into the mattress and I didn't (not in a bad way, it's definitely not uncomfortable). I had to sleep with the mattress on the ground for about a week before my bed frame came in, and it was about as good as sleeping on a floor mattress can get. I will probably be getting a mattress topper since I want a more cushy feel, but I appreciate the support it gives and the quality overall. I haven't necessarily noticed a difference in sleep quality or my back pain, but I'm also college-age so I guess I don't really have to worry about that quite yet. It is firm. Not great for a side sleeper, very uncomfortable in the shoulders. Zero foam, so you can feel the innerspring. Bought for a camper so I will definitely buy a thick topper instead of the hassle of replacing. I do like the price and the fact that it came compressed for easy set up.
