It’s still firm enough. The sides hold up great. I wanted a cheap mattress to move into my new NYC apartment. This matters doesn’t break the bank and is 100000% worth the money!!! My husband loves this super soft foam. It is definitely too soft for me. At 260 lbs I sink into a severe depression which has no support for me. Difficult to turn around. He is about the same weight but he had no issue with it. If you’re looking for better support, look for a much more firmer mattress.
