    • Lovely Scents!

I have used shower steamers before and was anxious to try these. They are slightly different but did not disappoint. First, they arrived sealed in a lovely box suitable for gifting. Upon unsealing the box, the fragrance leapt out. There were six different fragrance tablets, each individually wrapped, enclosed, but somehow, they all mixed together in a very inviting way. I was happy to drop one into the shower and begin my experience. First, these have a strong fragrance when dry. They are, however, delicate. When unwrapping my first tablet, I used cuticle scissors to snip the plastic wrapping. The tablet began breaking apart very easily, so it is best to unwrap it by the shower. Otherwise, it will begin spilling pieces and powder wherever it is free from the wrapping. No matter. My bathroom rug smells lovely. Next, there is a strong fragrance when the tablet gets wet, and the aroma is very soothing and pleasant. I did notice, however, that the tablet began disappearing rather quickly when wet. In fact, it did not last for my entire shower. My prior experience saw a more solid table with less fragrance. It did not flake, nor did it disappear quickly even in a long shower. There was, however, little fragrance. One must pick the experience, and I, personally, prefer this experience with the stronger fragrance. The fragrance does have a tendency to linger a bit, and there is no staining inside the shower. I am definitely happy about that finding. All in all, I am very pleased with this product. I think it gave me just what I needed and wanted. Could it have lasted a little longer? Yes, I think so. Could it have lasted longer at the expense of the strength of the fragrance? I'd rather not sacrifice the fragrance. The initial blast is quite pleasing. I look forward to my next shower experience. I am happy to recommend these Aromatherapy Shower Bars to anyone wanting to add a little luxury to an otherwise mundane shower and also to anyone looking to gift a special shower experience to a loved one. The box is attractive, and the experience of the fragrance upon opening the box is very special indeed. It is a lovely, thoughtful gift that anyone not allergic to fragrances would likely appreciate. ... show more

    • Decent shower soothers

A good shower soother can really make your showers much more relaxing and enjoyable. They are a great way to destress after a long day. This set of soother tablets is decent, but not great. As the manufacturer mentions, you can either move them away from the direct stream of water or you can put them directly under for a stronger scent but that will make them dissolve much faster. That is very true and I recommend the first option as these dissolve extremely fast if they are in the main water stream. Plus, the scent on these tablets is a little artificial and perfumed and is much better in small amounts. I recommend moving them from the main stream of water and then just leaving them on the shower floor for the next few showers. There are better smelling soothers out there and ones that last longer, but this is a decent set if you have never tried them before or are looking for a gift for someone. ... show more

I’m glad I gave shower steamers another chance. I tried some other ones recently, and they were no good. These on the other hand smell nice while I shower and don’t leave a lot of colored mess behind. I guess a shower steamer is kind of like a bath bomb for a standing shower rather than bath bomb for a tub bath - the main purpose is for the nice smell and novelty. I like that I got a variety of different scents that I all like. These could be enjoyable to give as a part of a gift since they are a pretty new concept I believe. Each is packed securely in plastic wrap. I recommend you open them carefully with a sharp pair of scissors because they crush easily. ... show more

This box has a six different shower bar, each wrapped individually in a plastic wrap and have a distinguish aroma. These bar are very delicate need to be unwrap gently otherwise break into pieces. The aroma intensifies as the bar gets wet, works like aromatherapy quite pleasant and relaxing. As a shower steamer it should stay little bit longer but it starts disappearing quickly and hardly last for the time I took shower. I noticed that these bar does not leave any residue or stain. I like how this set is nicely packaged, ready to gift as is in my opinion. Each one is individually wrapped. You get a nice selection of scents, and I found they lasted my entire shower. You aren't supposed to put them directly in the stream, but off to the side where the water gets on it a little. The scents I have tried have all been nice and light, I don't feel overpowered by them which I personally like. My only dislike is the price, but I suppose it's not terrible. If you like lighter scented shower steamers, these might just be the set for you! ... show more

These have a pleasant smell and last OK in the shower, they are very crumbly on the edges, and getting them out of the very tight shrink wrap causes the edges to crumble. However the middle of each puck seems to be better compacted. I tent to not like colored ones, cause then just cause my not as clean tubs as it should be stained with a color, these however dont seem to have as much dye in it, so I dont see a stream of color like other have. ... show more

These shower steamers are great, the only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the scent doesn’t last quite as long as I’d like. I do wish they didn’t include any fillers as well but for the value they’re about what I’d expect. I can see them being a great gift or just to be used for self-care time. I also love the idea of just having them used in a bowl of water to refresh a room, I just don’t know how well the scent would actually penetrate beyond a small area.
