  • XAegis Shoulder Holster
Color: Black
I have bought 4 or 5 of these type of holster and only 2 have been worth buying either the holster wont fit my Ruger SR9c with a laser on the rail or they are cheaply made. I would recommend this shoulder holster fits well easy to adjust took me under 5 minutes. The clip holders come the way I wish they all would with the openings facing down ward easy to access the clip. The belt straps are very well made and keep the whole rig nice and secure. Comfortable could wear this for a whole day/night. My nephew stopped by and I was wearing my zip up sweat shit and had the shoulder holster on and he could not tell that I had it with me. ... show more

  • Sizing
Color: Black
I'm a 215 adult male, it seems a bit snug at the furthest adjustment. It works, definitely concealment under a coat. Just would have liked another inch or so for comfort. I have big shoulders so this felt tight. Just probably takes some getting used to.

  • Simple Cheap Basic Better than Nothing
Color: Black
Weapon: Beretta Px4 STORM 40 cal. PRO: The pistol Does Fit. PRO: It can be removed in a normal matter. CON: Does Not Remove fast for Combat use. CON: Replacing pistol is Not smooth Both sides of the Case will hang up on both sides of the Pistols' Ambidextrous Safety Levers requiring More Work then Needed. CON: Velcro Strap with 2 Snaps to Secure Pistol can require more work to reposition velcro to get both snaps to snap. Snaps may seam snapped but are not push hard to snap. PRO: When Snapped it holds Pistol Secure. CON: Depending on arm movement one Snap can be unsnapped from normal movement. PRO: Can fit LARGE size Chest up to 60" PRO: Comfort to wear is Normal. PRO: Quality of the unit as made is Normal and seams to be as advertised to be called made well. CON: I am always concerned When Light Elastic is used in a product and this has a light Elastic Band used in the Straps over time it may go bad. time will tell. PRO: The Utility Pouch will hold 2 ammo Clips with 14 rounds each @ 40 Cal. and works Normal. ENDING THOUGHTS: I Feel for general use it is a ok Shoulder Holster for Range use or and around the house use or camping going places you may not want to worry about leather. it is Cheap and I feel it will last long enough to get your money back. ... show more

  • Inexpensive isn't always a bad thing...
Color: Black
I've had and worn this setup for a week now - I wanted to have ample time to carry and wear before giving a fair and thorough review. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised in what we've got here. I'll try to break this down categorically : * Initial impressions : When I first received this setup, the 'across the back of the neck' strap was quite a turn-off. I had anticipated chafing and discomfort so high up near the collar - this has not really been the case. If you were to wear something collared, it will ride just underneath it without pulling up on it. The elastic material stays on your clothing and not into your neck, bonus. * Sizing and fitment : A bit finicky to adjust at first, but most are. You're just going to have to play with the adjusters and cinch both sides where they work with you. Move around a LOT, bend, twist, reach for things, bend over and tie your shoes - do all of this while fitting it to yourself. My only gripe for this is for the belt-straps - the velcro portion could be a little higher to allow a "higher ride" for the mag holder - it's a smidge loose for my taste and I'm 6'1" * Retention and weight balance : I've carried both a Jericho 941 and a S&W 4006TSW in this setup - both are heavy all-metal pistols with fair magazine capacities. Weight balance is good, and if you own polymer lowered pistols, it'll be even better for you. I received this with the intention of carrying the Jericho and several 3rd Generation S&W's - and so far, so good for all of them. The double-snap thumb-break is a nice touch as well, though the velcro'd on end is a little strange - I'll be stitching mine in place. * Overall comfort - not bad - this setup definitely favors top-wear. The wide shoulder-pads help disperse the load, but the adjustment straps may go "long" on you and you have to wrap/tuck them under the pads to get them out of your way. I may end up just safety pinning them or even stitching them up with needle and thread since this rig is only for me anyway. Once you adjust it where you want it, you may opt to do the same. I can wear this setup wearing a dress coat, a winter coat, or even a zipper-up hoodie and it conceals incredibly well. * Value for money : Look at the asking price - the materials will serve you at least several seasons. Even if you only get 2 to 3 years out of it before the plastic clips give out (doubtful) - these are inexpensive enough to replace and not worry about it. Good value for money. Overall, I gave comfort 4 stars due to the obvious - I prefer an X-brace between my shoulders over an across-the-neck strap, the velcro could be a little longer, etc - but as a package, and at this price point, it makes a great "winter carry" setup. Buy with confidence, and keep your expectations reasonable, and you will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • Unusable for carrying under left shoulder for right hand crossdraw
Color: Black
Unusable for carrying under left shoulder for right hand crossdraw. Hand grip is painfully buried in my ribs where I can only get ahold of it with difficulty. Barrel sticks out at over a 45* angle, probably at least 6" from my side because side strap is sewed on the side away from me. Is not concealable at all under clothing very obvious. And gets in the way of all movement. Elastic sucks and is way too stretchy. Also shoulder adjustment won't adjust small enough to fit someone wearing a men's medium shirt. Would be ok for xl shirt size I suspect. Mag pouches are ok. I believe this would work ok for left hand draw since the side strap is sewed to the proper side of the holster between your side and the holster. Going straight in the garbage. Not worth the massive hassle to return. Have had another brand that carried well I just wanted something with mag pouches. Very disappointed ... show more

  • *update* What a colossal waste of money
Color: Black
Update; XAegis sent me an email addressing unsatisfactory purchase. They were quick to make things right with me, which was very important to me as a consumer. It's not a usual way & most companies don't care one way or the other. The fact that this company made people a priority deserves 5 stars. This is a total waste of money. Very cheap material, I wasn't expecting excellence because of price, but I did think it would better than a cheap dollar store bookbag. You know the ones... Lucky to get a month out of it... in fact a cheap bookbag may have been better at least you could put your gun in a bag to secure it. The holster doesn't keep gun safe or in place. And you will need a counter balance if you don't wear belts. ... show more
