Description

The Safariland 6378RDS ALS concealment paddle and belt loop combo holster is a concealment version of the Automatic Locking System (ALS) series holsters. Once the weapon is holstered, it "locks" into place, providing an extra measure of security from standard open top holsters. A simple straight up draw is possible once the ALS is de-activated by the thumb while obtaining a shooting grip. IDPA approved. Designed with a rotating RDS protective cover that automatically opens upon drawing the weapon. The Model 6378RDS holster features an all new injection molded paddle design that is highly concealable and rides close to body with a slightly forward weapon cant. It also includes the 567BL Belt loop, fitting 1.5" to 1.75" belt widths. Additionally, it features suede lining to help protect the gun's sights and finish, and its Safari Laminate structure with wraparound design provides the strongest design combination available.

Ordered a right hand holster. Received a left hand holster because apparently Amazon stickers it wrong. I’m feted a replacement but I’m betting it’s a crap shoot as to weather I get another left hand or not. No way to contact Amazon in reference to this I’ve found so I guess we’ll see. As for the holster itself I expect it to be fine, as all the other similar Safariland holsters I have are great ... show more

Very disappointed. I have a shooting test coming up in days now I have to forfeit a loss. Next time you say it’s a right hand holster send a right hand holster not a left. If it helps for reference, put both hands in front of you point your index and thumbs out. Whichever hand makes an L from your point of view, that’s your left side. ... show more

Like the other reviews before me said, I ordered a right handed holster and received a left handed one. Holster itself is just fine as Safariland is top notch, but Amazon screwed up by sending the wrong hand. They did make returning it extremely easy, however.

    • Doesn't fit Glock 10 Gen 5 MOS
I have used Safariland products for years and love them, but this holster does not fit a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. The lateral clearance on the sides of the slide are to small making unholstering/reholstering difficult and leaving contact marks on the top left side of the weapon slide rail. None of my other Safariland products have ever done this. Very disappointing. ... show more
