Great replacement visor for your lid. It is a genuine Shoei visor from their parts & accessories line. Easy to fit & switch out. I have an eye sensitivity to daylight, the “Dark”, wasn’t as dark as I was hoping though. I’m just happy I ordered the Dark and not the light smoke.

This thing is absolutely mandatory if you ride during winter. I'm not sure what kind of black magic is actually at work inside it, but it got completely rid of that fog that had been bothering me since the temperatures dropped. Installation is pretty straightforward. Just make sure you don't touch the fog absorbing part with your fingers. Also: make sure you're getting the right model for your helmet. For example, this fits a RF-1100, which has a CW-1 shield, but might not work on other helmets. ... show more

Seller sent what was substandard product. Looking through the lens was less clear than my 20 year old original Shoei shield. There seemed to be a film on it and looking through it towards the sun made it almost impossible to see. There was clearly a difference looking top to bottom. I bought this shield for my matte black Shoei Qwest to add pin-lock anti fog capability, keep the sun out of my eyes, and look cool. The fit is perfect, no adjustment needed to make an airtight seal (included instructions say it may be necessary) and no tools are required to change the shield. The tint is dark enough to replace my (prescription) sunglasses in most cases, but I still use both when the sun is low and it's perfect. Fits my Qwest perfectly. I only wish they made the transitions version for my helmet so I didn’t have to buy this one and a clear one. The shield itself is fine - nothing special as compared to the standard shield except for the pinlock pins. You also need to get a pinlock insert, therefore, to prevent fog.
