  • Good, affordable tire
This is a good, affordable tire. Good traction with a comfortable ride.

  • Understand what it is you're buying
Regardless of what people say, I like these tires. They're soft, they stick to the pavement, and they ride smoothly. They are far better than the stock Dunlops on a Harley touring bike (but what isn't) and they ride as nicely as anything else that I've had on it. That being said, it is a very soft compound tire. You're not getting 15-20K out of them. I got about 7-10 out of my last set and was pretty happy about that. The pricing offsets the mileage. ... show more

  • Happy with this over stock
Got this and the corresponding rear for my '05 Road King and I really like the way the bike handles with these. The profile is slightly different then the OEM Dunlops and I was a little worried about that but they feel very stable on the straights as well as in the twisties. We'll see how they wear but the general consensus seems to be they'll wear a little faster but hold a lot better. To me that's worth it. I mounted them myself and use Dynabeads for balance. Update: I had to order a second rear tire after about 5K. I probably should have done it about 4k but no big deal. The front tire still is holding up so I think for my bike I'll need a front for every other rear. No complaints. Great tire with great traction. ... show more

  • They work and half the price as the known name brands
I love shinkos they just don't last long on a bagger is all. I have them on my road king turned ultra with a 21 on the front that's the reason for only 4 stars. As far as the seller goes they came a day earlier and I gave for both front and rear tires what just one American elite was costing me. These tires hest up and stick really well in the curves and do great on the highway they look good and ride great. I did have to run fender risers with these for whatever reason when the other brand 21 I did not other than rhat great tire and service ... show more

  • Seems like a good tire for the price.
Seems like a good tire for the money. I bought front and matched rear.. After I mounted them what I noticed right away was the smother ride on the road cracks over the factory tires. They seem to have plenty of grip on all the roads I ride on. As many others have said they don't last as long, but I only have got around 200 miles thus far. So will see how long they last for me. But at this point as getting any other brand of tire guess one couldn't go wrong with these.. update.. I got 11080 miles out of this tire before I decided to change it out, I have zero complaints for this tire, did great in all riding weather just got a new one and changed it out. I would recommend this tire... ... show more

Handles perfectly great pricing best dripping tire I’ve ever had

  • Worst tire ever
The tire started shredding on our first ride. Only went 88 miles and the middle of the tire started to wear. If we had a longer ride, the tire would have split and we could have died.

  • bang for the buck
when i was looking at a tire fore my bike i knew spending 350 at the dealer was out so i started researching what i really needed and this tire fit the bill it was inexpensive and the reviews were good. so i purchased it and had it put on and it was less expensive by a lot. my first ride with it was 2 up and it out performed the factory Dunlap big time. the tire has only been on for about 600 miles so far and i definitely would recommend it for those looking for a new rear tire for a harley davidson flh ... show more
