I know it says rear tire but I had the same tire on the front of my BMW R 1200CLC already. I needed to replace it because of age not wear. The only thing you have to remember to do to run a rear tire on the front is to change the direction of rotation. I mounted it myself and put the dot by the valve stem. Nice and smooth. I can't speak on longevity or mileage yet but this shinko 777 is an outstanding tire handling wise for the money. I specifically bought this tire because of the reviews of a few people that own Kawasaki concours the same bike I own. This tire without question instills confidence on a big bike like the Concours. under extremely hard acceleration the front wheel now lifts a little instead of the back end sliding sideways. Around corners the bike stays planted. I would definitely at this point by another one regardless of longevity. ... show more
