I bought this tire for my Kawasaki Drifter and have not installed it yet. I have been using Avon tires and only get 6 to 7 thousand miles out of rear tire at a lot higher cost. The Shinko was cheaper and the reviews seem to be good so I plan on giving it a try.

This is my 2nd Shinko 777 rear tire. I run it on my '06 Kawasaki Concours motorcycle. This tire gives me excellent handling and long mileage, typically 12,000 - 14,000 miles. It balances easily. Rain handling is good, no unexpected characteristics or glitches. The first time I bought a Shinko 777 I was apprehensive, having run Dunlop Elite series (II and III) tires for much of my motorcycling life. However, the Shinko was half the price and had a good reputation with fellow bikers who had tried them so I gave it a try. Have not been disappointed! ... show more
