    • Yes it's flat, feels good, I'm satisfied.
Daily commuting rain or shine on my FZ1 (gen1), I was seriously contemplating a road 5 as my next tire. However, at this price point and realizing I'm living in Ohio and not canyon carving (the few corners I lean into are turns at street lights and a few country sweepers). The reviews of the tire being very flat while offering longevity but compromising lean angle I thought to be he compromised I'm willing to take. With full agreement, on my 5.5 rim the 190/50 is very flat. I would say the turn in on a lean does feel a bit abrupt and light but not unstable. It just took a few hundred miles for muscle memory to calibrate to the particular tires characteristics. Thus far no issues in rain. The previous tire being a pirelli Diablo, I have found this shinko to have more wet traction in the wet. For my particular mission, this tire seems to be suited quite well and I am satisfied. ... show more

I have put about 2000 miles on this tire and I am thrilled with the performance. It has plenty of grip and unlike many of the other tires I have tried (dunlop, bridgestone, pirrelli) it is hard enough to last. The only downside is that it takes a while to warm up so be careful on the turns till your tires are warmed up. Probably not a great tire for the track but in everyday and weekend corner carving situations it is the best bang for your buck. So if you don't moonlight as a MOTOGP rider this is probably the tire you want. 2003 RC-51, power commander, full two brothers exhaust, 10 years riding over 12,000 motorcylce miles per year. ... show more

“For the money” it’s a pretty good tire. It has more than sufficient grip, it’s kind of flat but not horribly. It’s surprisingly good turns. I have a 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa and tire puts the power down pretty good. I bought this tire to match the front that was on the bike when I got it a few months back. I was thinking of trying it out and if they were horrible getting a set of Diablo Rossi Corsa 2’s but I think I’m gonna keep these 😁 ... show more
