Bought this to change out the controller for one I already have installed. All 12 volt LEDs and controllers are not compatible. Why is that? They all look the same and perform the same with few slight differences. A thousand models all about the same price you think they would work together? No, of course not. I'm keeping it to change out the existing one as a winter project. It's not better it's just different in that it does bluetooth with app. My current one is ok but Hey Winters are long and time is plenty when retired. LOL ... show more

Cant see it aswell because the daylight, but install was pretty easy and it all works nicely. I wired mine to a 2 pin plug to plug in the tender socket, i imagine the receiver will drain the battery cuz its always waiting on an app signal or remote signal.. That said, you WILL need an extension kit if you want to light up more than 1 area on the bike. I was able to do it with 1 kit and 1 extender kit, but ymmv. My only other complaint is they arent as bight as i had hoped. Then again, its not easy lighting those huge tires and engine ... Definitely worth every penny tho ... show more

    • Tried buying two kits.
I bought the 10 light kit, installed in my motorcycle, later I decided to buy another kit and add onto the existing lights. However, the 2nd kit does not work while connected to the 1st kit. Not sure why.

I bought a second set of lights from the same company and the led strips are not compatible. If you find yourself self coming up short or wanting just a little more light, i guess re-order the same pack, not the same brand. Separately, both are plenty bright and work well. Collectively, not so much

So just for my ninja I had to buy two of these… You will need two because the wires are so short. Also invest in stronger double sided tape because your lights will fall down. I personally used super glue.
