The media could not be loaded. Joohour’s designs are unique and so much fun to build. They pay close attention to detail, and their quality is top notch. 
This lamp was such a fun change from the standard book nooks I’ve been building. It’s so bright, and it will make such a fun addition to my office. Joohour thought of everything! From the tweezers and glue to the tiny hammer, I have to admit I was excited when I opened the box. You know any set that comes with all the supplies you need is bound to be excellent. One unique feature of this is that the lights run on a USB cord rather than batteries. Just plug it into any USB charge block, and the lights are far brighter than you might think. The mirrors added to the set create a long, tunnel-like effect that makes the lamp feel much larger than it is on the inside. One of my favorite things about buying from Joohour is that they aren’t just selling these sets…they actually design everything themselves! They truly care about the customer experience, and it shows. 
I am already ordering my next kit from them, and I can’t wait to dive in! ... show more

    • A fun to assemble scene!
This little bookshelf diorama is approachable even for a beginner and rather fun to put together it you're into such activities. It's like a 3D puzzle that's super detailed for its size. Positives: -Nicely detailed 'endless' scene -Included everything needed to assemble the scene -Glue is used sparingly as to maintain that this is very puzzle-like, to hold on smaller piece for decoration. -USB-powered LED lighting makes the entire scene look great. -Actually looks like the listing's images Considerations: -This isn't a huge scene at just 2.8"D x 4.7"W x 6.5"H. -Use as small of an amount of glue as possible. Too much, and it'll go everywhere and will be hard to clean up! -The included tweezers bend a bit. If you're having issues with them, may be worth using a different set. -Try not to touch the glass or mirror with your fingers as your prints will show up rather easily. -If you smack the wood to hard, with the included mallet, you'll leave little dents in it! -Take your time! Negatives: -If you're having issues with a part fitting somewhere, and you're 100% sure you have the correct part, you may need to sand a bit off or use an X-Acto knife to remove a bit for it to fit. Overall: -For just $39.99 (when reviewed), even with being on the smaller side, this is a fun scene to assemble or give as a gift to someone that likes such things. Recommended!     • Super cute and not too hard to put together
TL;DR Some small gripes but really cute 3D puzzle that’s good for beginners. — Great little kit. It took me about 2 hours start to finish to put it together, so it feels like you put effort into it, but it didn’t drag on. I was a little concerned that it was more model than puzzle, because it came with glue, but gluing is fairly minimal (better to glue on decorations than using pegs throughout like I’ve seen on other 3D puzzles). This is probably fine for beginners—both with models and 3D puzzles.

Some tips: * As usual for 3D wood puzzles, having an Xacto knife is really helpful, both to free stubborn pieces and to cut off any excess wood slivers. In this case, I had to do some surgery to some pieces, too, so definitely a good-to-have. * I’m a woman and I have no doubt that having smaller fingers helped tremendously. That said, there are a pair of angled tweezers (not a great set because they bend a little), but as far as freebies go, they get the job done. * For people new to this, use as little glue as possible, especially when gluing things to the acrylic pieces (mirrors and front cover), since they’re non-porous and will slide. In most cases, there’s not a lot of room for error and in this particular model, any boo-boos are multiplied infinitely. A few gripes: * The printing on the glue tube is miniscule. I had to take a picture so I could zoom in to read it. * Why are the backup pieces never ones I’d break? It’s common that I break something—usually a delicate piece like the ones that bend or thinner pieces that need to be jammed into holes—so why don’t those have backups? I guess they’re work-aroundable (I broke one of the pieces that the led light strip is attached to, which I glued down), so no biggie. * The damn cable anchors were too big for their holes, so I had to shave them down, but it took me a few frustrating minutes of trying to get them seated before I gave up and took a knife to them. Also, why is the last one before the cable exits pointing away from the hole? * Those stairs! They were a challenge, but there was a sense of accomplishment once they were done. * The frame is made of pretty soft wood, so malleting it into place leaves dents in it. I was able to just put some weight on each piece to get it into place. Not a gripe, but the mallet/hammer is fantastic! Finally, it’s really cute! I love that you can change the intensity of the lighting, too. ... show more

    • Fun to assemble and attractive at finish
This puzzle nightlight is highly detailed and comes with everything you need to complete it. It is a little bit difficult at times to get everything in place, but for the most part the directions are clear and the pieces are well made and easy to place. I did this with one of my teens and we had a very good time putting this together. It is nice that this has a useable function once completed as well. This would make a great gift for someone who enjoys models, crafts or puzzles! ... show more
