This is the only powder foundation I've found so far - and believe me, I've tried my share - that doesn't cling to my dry patches. I apply it dry with the sponge that came with the foundation (which, btw, has its own clever little compartment in the compact). In addition, the coverage from this foundation is great, WAY better than I get from more expensive powder foundations from Tarte, IT Cosmetics, and Laura Geller. It even covers my dark circles. I bought the shade Porcelain, which suits my fair skin quite well. I'm attaching a photo to this review, as well. On the left side of the photo I'm wearing this foundation; on the right side of the photo my skin is bare. Iirc I did take this with my front-facing camera, so the whole photo is a bit smoother than reality, but I think it still gives you a good sense of the coverage and color match. I am probably 3 shades darker than Linen, however, I use this as a setting powder with a large fluffy brush over my liquid foundation AND then, I also use some of this pressed (with the included pad) as a concealer under my eyes & any other parts I feel need some lightening. The results are beautiful and my makeup stays put even when it’s 100 F outside. I’m 38 with mature skin- if you’re not using a moisturizing serum and a quality primer right for YOUR skin before your makeup application - you shouldn’t expect your makeup to look and last the way it should. ... show more

I’ve never heard of sheglam before. I was looking for an inexpensive powder foundation being that I usually use Sephora’s powder foundation, which is pricey. I based my shade selection on the picture description of the sand.. I have light tanned olive Indian complexion. Fingers were crossed. Once it arrived,it was packed so well. Fancy. The sponge has a new chemical smell so I would suggest washing it before use. I dabbed it on and it was my exact shade! So surprised I got it right! I also had purchased the Peach shade, but that had a pinkish hue to it, which clashed with my complexion. Definitely moisturize beforehand or skin will look chalky. My face pic shows the results of Sand. The chest pic shows the pink hue of the Peach against the rest of my tanned skin, which I circled in red. I tested the sheglam powder puff, a Joly brand powder puff, and makeup brush..the Joly powder puff created the best, quicker effect with more coverage. ... show more

Not a big fan. I really want to like it!! I’ve used it with foundation, by itself, with primer only, with moisturizer only and it looks really pretty for about an hour then starts separating! I’ve seen so many good reviews but it just doesn’t work for me. I’m 32 so I don’t young skin but I don’t “mature” skin either. I’m in between. I was really hoping this would be a good product for me since I’m trying to down size in the amount of make up I wear since I am getting older. I don’t have oily skin so I don’t understand why it’s separating like it does. Definitely wouldn’t recommend! ... show more

Also no puff was included so I had to use an old makeup brush. le sigh. i wanted to like this because I love and support Palestine and don't want to buy more of my beloved L'Oreal true match mineral powder that I have been using for ten years + but this won't work for me. I need L'Oreal level coverage and this was like a soft fade of foundation that disappears quickly. The hunt for the perfect brand continues. le sigh ... show more
