The smell reminds me of summer! I have been through just about every type of detangling spray for my two toddler girls and so far this is my favorite! The spray is lightweight and the smell is light but not too overpowering! This product leaves a nice shine on their blonde hair as well!

I haven’t used the product on my child’s head yet but I just got it in the mail and it did not come with a top/cap to place on it when not in use. While doing my child’s hair it would be best to have the cap for protection in the case it falls over and potentially leaks. I hope it works though.

I was using the Honest Co detangler spray for at least two years on my daughter’s hair. It took us at least 20 minutes every day to brush her hair, but I blamed it on the tangle-level of her hair; I thought it was just that her hair would always be super hard to brush. I used a friends detangler spray from Walmart and realized that the problem was not her hair, it was the spray, because that $3 product detangled instantly. I set out for a cleaner version and decided on this. I’m not crazy about the undisclosed fragrance ingredients, but it WORKS. I spray generously on any tangles and it is able to work through them, and her hair feels clean, shiny and smooth afterwards. The other brand made her hair feel sticky which I think actually contributed to more tangles. She agrees this one is better! I spend far less time brushing her hair now. Her hair is long (like butt-length), very thick (like an adults thick hair, not toddler hair), and with waves/loose ringlets. Highly recommend! ... show more

Our pup is a spaniel mix - think Irish setter long wavy hair. He gets terribly matted behind/under his ears and he gets itchy from it. I try to keep up with brushing, but it seems to mat back up in minutes. The groomer has clipped the hair shorter in the area, but it still matted badly. I think it was almost worse than when it was long. I knew I needed help, so I tried this spray after reading reviews and checking ingredients. It has a pleasant coconut smell which fades pretty quickly. It wets the hair temporarily and really helped loosen the matting while I used the slicker brush. Then it seemed to evaporate without leaving any greasy residue. Max and I were both very happy. I've been using this detangler for years. I spray it on my long, wet hair after a shower. And then carefully brush through my hair, starting at the ends and working my way up. This product really helps to remove tangles and knots, making my hair silky so that I can brush it quickly without ripping it out. A must for me. And worth a try for you... ... show more
