Description

Shaun of the Dead: There comes a day in every man's life when he has to get off the couch…and kill some zombies. When flesh-eating zombies are on the hunt for a bite to eat, it's up to slacker Shaun (Simon Pegg) and his best pal Ed (Nick Frost), to save their friends and family from becoming the next entreé. Novelist Stephen King gushes Shaun of the Dead is "a 10 on the fun meter and destined to be a cult classic" and Newsweek calls it "a bloody hoot!" Hot Fuzz: Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is a big-city cop who can't be stopped—but he's making everyone else on the force look bad. When he is reassigned to a small, quiet town, he struggles with this new, seemingly idyllic world and his bumbling partner (Nick Frost). Their dull existence is interrupted by several grisly and suspicious accidents, and the crime-fighting duo turn up the heat and hand out high-octane, car-chasing, gun-fighting big-city justice in this hilarious hit critics are calling "Outrageous! Uproariously Funny!" (Thelma Adams, US Weekly). The World's End: Twenty years after their first epic pub crawl attempt, the "five musketeers" reunite to complete the ultimate challenge—one night, five friends, twelve bars—a boozy quest on which only the strongest will survive. They soon realize that reaching their final pub, The World's End, may be the least of their troubles. They're having the time of their lives, ready to take on the world…but tonight they may have to save it. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reteam with director Edgar Wright in this wildly entertaining thrill ride that critics call "sheer comic perfection" (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone).

  • The Cornetto Trilogy!
Edgar Wright directed these films and they are an amazing collection of action, comedy, tragedy, loss and many others. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost star in all three of these films; they have scenarios ranging from a Zombie Apocalypse, a Police Officer being transferred into a nightmare and the End of the World. Fast paced action and dialogue keep the pace and makes it entertaining. These are gold and I highly recommend these movies for purchasing. ... show more

  • 5/5
Shaun of the Dead is in my top 5 fave movies of all time. Can't believe it's been over 20 years since it came out. Had to get this on Dvd as streaming is overrated and movies/shows come and go on those apps. I could easily watch this movie everyday for the rest of my life and the nostalgia of owning the Dvd brings back fond childhood memories. Ty! ... show more

  • Digital Code IS GOOD - February 2021
I haven’t seen these movies but liked “Paul” and will probably like them.I write this review to COUNTER the review that says :Digital Code Expired” THIS IS FALSE info.I bough this 3 Blu-ray set in February 2021 and redeemed it February 2021!You must enter it CORRECTLY!!!! Or it will say invalid or expired. Some people think 0 is o or O, It’s ZERO the numeral not O the letter. This is an example of how people screw up getting their digital copies.1st do what digital paper says to get your digital copy.Or you can go to Vudu,Movies Unlimited etc.and try the code there.Sometimes it works on one and not the other.ALSO,many codes DO expire but some don’t even YEARS after the expiration date,so it doesn’t hurt to TRY expired codes. This one WORKS by going to Lionsgate as instructed on the digital copy page included inside the Blu-ray case.Use all caps for letters and remember to use zero if you misread it as O.I hope this is helpful! ... show more

  • Funny movies
Glad that I found a trilogy movie set. Delivery method needs work. It took 10 days to get this set, so I wasn't pleased about that fact. The seller advised they were closed the week I ordered. Put your store in vacation mode. I wanted Shaun of the Dead, but getting the set of 3 was even better. The discs are in the same packaging and clearly marked. We watched Shaun of the Dead and plan to watch the other two by the weekend. The seller responded to my inquiries in a timely manner. ... show more
