These boxes are fantastic. You can make so many shapes. You really should have at least 2, but 4 is definitely better. You can pit them together to make whole new shapes which is a fun thing to just fidget with. They are pretty and sturdy and shapes are easy to do. I highly recommend.

I love that it is magnetic and my grandchildren love the way the cube works, however we have had 2 of the 4 the paper cover came off while the child was using the cube. I did not return the product because it was after return date was possible. It is still a great and fun toy but disappointed with the durability - especially if designed for children ages 6+ to play with. I felt the cost didn't match the durability of product. ... show more

I admit I did play with one of them. I ordered 3 for my grandson (who will be 38) and I will have to give them to him out of sight of the great grandkids because they will want to play with them. Not for 5 and 6 year old children. And knowing my grandson he would give in and let them play with them. My daughter also played with one of them and we both agreed that they are addictive and we wanted to keep them for ourselves. But no, they are my grandson's. I will give them to him on Sunday. I normally give him a puzzle box in November (his birthday month) but this year I couldn't find one I liked for him. Overall the kids enjoyed these for a brief time, but the stickers that holds them together at the seams tear relatively quick and then they are basically useless. Do not expect them to last long with kids that play with them often. We found them to be best on a road trip and inside restaurants to keep the kids busy, because by the end of the trip we end up throwing them away as they are torn by then. Note this is normal play.
