I use to have one at my old job to help me when customers thought that yelling at a young person would get them the deals they wanted. Helps calm me down and distract my brain from whats stressing me or causing anxiety attacks. it moves very smoothly and is very sturdy. cubes for days

    • just good old fidgeting the way fidgeting was meant to be....
This fidget cube does not pretend to be anything other than what it is.... good old fidgeting. It doesn't spin, you can't compete with other fidgeters with it, it doesn't make endless varieties of shapes, it doesn't come apart, you don't make art projects with it, etc. You just fidget. If you want it to do more than that then you are looking at the wrong item. But if what you want is satisfying fidgeting with a decent weight and about the right size for the average adult hand, this is the fidget gadget for you. It isn't too large for most childrens' hands either but it might be for some. It makes a satisfying clicking kind of sound as you fold and unfold the blocks and you can get into a rhythm that I also find satisfying. Not all fidgeting people are alike so I can't say for sure whether you will like this. I can only tell you that I came back for a second one because my first one was co-opted by another fidgeteer. He LOVES it also. Some folks complain that it isn't well made and isnt durable. I haven't actually jumped up and down on the thing with cement booties and perhaps if I did (though I am not planning to) it would fall apart, but used as an everyday fidgeter it is holding up really nicely. The joints are well designed and hang together really well. BOTTOM LINE: If you need to fidget this might be the gadget for you. Wouldn't be good in a classroom, church or theatre because it does make a clicking noise with every gesture. But in places where a little clicking sound wouldn't be an issue, this would be a nice fidget to have. At under ten dollars the price is reasonable. Is this my absolute favorite fidgeter?     • It def helps, but there are a few nitpicks...

I have combined ADHD, so there are some days where I'm a little bit fidgety and just not all that focused. During moments where I feel my attention fading or I just can't seem to keep still, I reach for this, sometimes over my phone! It has been very useful in terms of keeping myself busy when I can't seem to tune in all the way. However, there are a few nitpicks I have. I love the colors and the build is nice, but the issue I have is the rigidity of it. I'd personally would like it to be a smidge heavier or at least give a tiny bit of resistance. It's all so I could feel like I have full control of the cube rather than it just falling into place due to gravity. Maybe some magnetic force would help keep it locked into place until the next move? As the for the noise, it's fine, but it does sound loose. I'm not against it, but again, that goes back to my preference above. The size is just about right. Maybe if it was a bit smaller, I'd def have a bit more fun with it, but otherwise, a very solid fidget to use whenever the mind does seem to wanna keep still or get moving.
