I’m so pleased to find a pen that doesn’t smudge or smear! The ink literally dries the instant it touches the paper. I’ve even tried to get it to smear with no luck. I even tried wetting the ink on paper and it doesn’t seem to bleed at all. The only thing I could even call a con is they don’t write as fine as some other pens, but I can live with that. The plastic pens themselves are pretty standard with a rubber-type grip. I do notice they’re extremely light in the hand. I may swap-out the ink cartridge to a heavier metal pen just for the weight. All-in-all I love these Sharpie gel pens. I can’t recommend enough if you’re sick of ink smears, smudges or ink globs from other pens. ... show more

There's virtually no smudging as the ink dries right away (I'm left-handed and that's always been a problem).
