I want to start by saying that I use this set in both a professional and hobby manner. The parts that I use the most from it are as follows: 3 different bits, spudger, plastic pry tool, magnetic mat, tweezers, and picks. The truth is that like all other kits you will rarely if ever have to use all of the stuff in them. Usually you will depending on your primary purpose use a few of them a lot. The beauty is you are prepared for when those rare instances do occur. I have yet to come across a screw I couldn’t remove with this set(well other than ones requiring a socket wrench) The durability is solid…mostly. My one and only real complaint of the kit is that it only comes with one black spudger but two plastic pry tools. I use both equally maybe the pry tool a bit more as it is used to open devices. While the pry tool certainly shows wear in not keeping its color at the tips it is holding up very well. The spudger (like most of the spudgers you can get) isn’t. The pointed part is fine, the flat edge is starting to break apart and I will be needing to look for more soon. Given the durability discrepancy between these items I feel that one of the pry tool slots could have made room fro a second spudger but that could be just me being picky. On to the bits themselves, the ones I use, I use quite a bit. They have yet to show wear or become less effective and when they do there is another of the same size as backup. The driver itself is fantastic to handle. I’ve borrowed my coworkers sets from other companies before and they weren’t nearly as smooth to do repairs with as this kit. Do make sure you are using the correct bit for what you need. With so many options and so many close together it’s important as the wrong one could cause the screw to strip easier. This is nothing against the kit just some general advice. TLDR: Great value, mostly durable a second spudger would have been nice though, amazing feel, all the bits you’ll likely ever need. ... show more

I just want to do an emergency review because I am not out of T3 bits despited having bought 2 sets 11 months ago. Each set has 2 bits of each small size screws but I am on my last T3 bits for fixing Microsoft Surfaces. The T4 bits fare a little better because only 1 is worn so far. I bought this kit to replace a similar set I purchased from Amazon about a year ago that was stolen. I figured while I was at it, I may as well upgrade since it was only a few dollars more than what I originally bought and it had a much nicer case, a few more bits, and a bunch of tools. It arrived and I was extremely impressed with the quality of the case itself-it seems to be very well put together. The Velcro sections that hold the bit cases are strong and stretch the full length of the case so you don’t have to worry about getting each one precisely on a tiny strip to ensure it doesn’t fall off. It’s a great set for an excellent price. My boyfriend was even impressed when he saw it and casually mentioned how it might conveniently go “missing”. My ONLY issue is that upon using it for the first time, the metal ring that holds the little ball bearing in the tip of the driver/handle somehow slid off causing the ball bearing to fall out. As a result, about halfway thru my short task of removing 4 screws, every single time I removed a screw and dropped my arm down to my side with the screwdriver in my hand, the extension that holds the bit kept repeatedly falling out and onto the floor. After an extensive search I was able to locate the tiny ball bearing (surprisingly enough), but I couldn’t find the little metal ring to keep it secured in its home. It’s really annoying and not very effective to continually stop to pick up your bit, so I did what any other red-blooded American would do...I got out the duct tape. It’s been effective (obviously, it’s duct tape), but it’s not as good. Or maybe there was a little magnet in the bottom that also fell out? It seems like the bits stayed in there a long better when I first unboxed it, and the duct tape seems to do as good as the metal ring, but the bits still don’t feel as secure. So I either lost one part, or two...either way it’s a little disappointing having happened on its first use. I’m sure it was just a fluke because the rest of the kit really is quite impressive considering the price point. *I removed the duct tape to take the picture* ... show more
