Best linesman I’ve ever gotten from Klein. Buttery smooth right out of the box. Their VDE handles are a little chunky but comfortable to use. Cutters and strippers have held up great and the screwdrivers fit screws well.

This is one of the most bang for your buck Klein kits. I use this everyday and never had any problem with the insulation. Tools are sturdy and last forever. This is a great starter kit with some good essentials and no redundant tools. I do wish the strippers had a clip to keep them closed like a non-insulated pair i have. ... show more

Ive been using them for awhile now this is my second set since i bought these just in case i need a spare of any They are insulated which is a major plus. Still using the first set for a few months now and they have been great. Amazing value since buying these separately is way over $100 .They are well built and will most likely last me a very long time i will probably loose them before i cant use them anymore..if your new coming in to the trade and need a starting set..look no further ... show more

It was shipped in a proper amazon box, the blister pack was sealed so I knew I got brand new items. No damage, no rust. I was quite excited to put this to use, as this is my only US made 1000V insulated set of tools. My only complaint is the stickiness of the diagonal cutters. They were also dirty as you can see in the photo. After several applications of oil, pivot action improved a bit, but not as smooth as that of the lineman's pliers. The lack of closing stopped on the wire stripper was a bummer. So I made a DIY solution using Velcro straps that slides over the handles. Not elegant but it does the job. Update: November 2, 2023: Great set. The diagonal cutter works fine now. I grew to appreciate a bit of stiffness on the pivot as it afforded better handling. ... show more

My only complaint is that the wire strippers have no lock. They are always open, which I find annoying when in my work belt. Otherwise, so far so good with the tools!
