I am redecorating a couple of bedrooms in our home. I ordered four of these Shalala quilts in what I thought were four colors (two had different names but ended up being the same color) so I could see them in person and choose the best color. It turned out that the Light Taupe color ended up being th
e best color for one of the rooms, but I came very close to keeping this one, too, just because it's so beautiful! These quilts are soft, lightweight, good quality, and the one I kept laundered beautifully! Be sure to look through the reviews with pictures and you'll see how pretty and versatile these quilts are. I love how the velvet is only on the top! It prevents it from being too hot with the velvet. The color is beautiful and true to the photo! It’s super soft, lightweight, and cozy! I’d like to purchase another for my guest bedroom!

Surprisingly, I don’t hate it. Usually when I buy a king size blanket, it’s too small but this is a great size, covers everything needed. It’s comfy, soft. The green is a little darker than I anticipated but it’s still pretty.

Freaking LOVE this except the shams.

The shams are kinda floppy because they don't lay flat at the open ends. Why they didn't go a bit towards center with the opening? Not sure. But who cares. There are few covers in this price range that meet all the checkboxes that this does--appearance of stripes/contemporary but subtle, durable with
pets, soft, warm, and washable. So cheers. If you want ivory? I vote: do it! BUT, the shams. Get super fluffy pillows to stuff so there's less of a floppy flap.

Very happy with this purchase. The color is a pictured and although a bit pricey for a blanket and two pillow cases, the quality does not disappoint. Would buy again!

I got the dark green color, it’s beautiful and so soft. And a bobus, my husband and I get really hot while sleeping and this quilt has been nice and cool. We have both slept through the night without waking up hot!
