I have a child who has a hard time going to sleep at bedtime, and generally does not enjoy being in his room once it gets dark outside and everyone starts to settle down in the house. He finds reasons not to stay in his room, and is difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep. Recently we started looking at the stars and constellations through a telescope, and astronomy has piqued his interest. I bought this little contraption to see if I could use it as an incentive to keep him in the room. It worked wonders! The set up is as easy as finding a plug, and the design of the projector is very fitting. It looks more expensive than it is. The quality of the lighting is very good. I will warn you, like most consumer projectors, this is designed to be used inside when it is relatively dark. This isn't for mid-day usage as the light won't be easily seen in your rooms. The nebula allows you to change its color, and it looks great. My only knock is that the stars are all the same color; green! We can't change the star color, and altough it bothers me, it doesn't bother my son at all. He enjoys it so much, that he runs to his room at bedtime and just watches the stars on his ceiling! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Positive- Got this for the kids room and man this little dude lights up the whole living room ! Kid loved it and us adults even sat and were surprised by the quality of the product ! Definitely worth it and is a great product ! Negative- Only downside is it doesn’t give you an option to change the colors of the actual laser dots (stars) and they stay green, but yet you can change the waves and solar colors so I thought that didn’t really make much sense. Trust me when I say the video doesn’t do it justice with the fact it’s a lot better than you’d think. Other than that it looks and works exactly how we’d hoped and made a great Christmas gift ! I’ve been wanting one of these lights for a while, but was too worried that I’d end up with a cheap knock-off since you tend to see these advertised everywhere. Based on all these reviews here for this specific light, I decided for finally go for it, and I’m happy I did! This light is definitely worth the price. First pic is taken during the day with the blinds shut. Still displays the stars and galaxy well. Other pic is at night. Has several color options my son just loves the blue/green mixture. You can turn stars on or off and just display the galaxy or just display stars. Astronauts head is movable so you can point it wherever you want. I bought a flat USB charging block.
