Warranty Description: SureGuard warrants to the owner of each its products that if the laminate, fabric or zipper becomes damaged within a period of 10 years from the date of purchase as a result of normal household use, SureGuard will replace the protector provided the care instructions have been followed. The warranty covers the protector product only. Purchase receipt must be retained and presented to validate the warranty. For commercial purchases (non-household purchases) the warranty is reduced from 10 years to 2 years. All conditions and exclusions still apply. Exclusions - the warranty does not cover (i) Protectors that have been neglected, mishandled or abused; (ii) stains or other damage caused by nail polish, inks cosmetics, bleach, non-food related grease, corrosives, chemicals, alcohol or dyes; (iii) stains or other damage occurring prior to or during delivery or while the mattress is in or being moved into or out of storage or being moved between residences; (iv) stains or damage caused by, or the result of mold or mildew; (v) damage caused by animal beaks, teeth or claws; (vi) stains or other damage caused by or related to fire (including water damage), smoke, flood or other natural disaster, theft or vandalism, or any other loss that is covered under an insurance policy; or (vii) stains or other damage caused by structural problems or appliance malfunctions such as, but not limited to, leaks from the air conditioners, skylights, roofs water heaters or water pipes.

It doesn’t feel like any other type of waterproof case that I’ve had before. I do not hear noise from it being waterproof. While putting my fluffy pillow in the case I was not concerned about the case or zipper ripping. I could tell the quality was great! The only thing I noticed was that the case traps air and makes your pillow firmer. I will leave it unzipped a bit to let air escape. I purchased the SureGuard Pillow Protector last year when I read all over the internet that bed bugs were on the rise. I was in so much fear of them coming home with me from vacation that I almost canceled my trip. I was driving myself crazy reading all the horror stories from people who have or have had them. I came across this pillow protector and ordered it. It’s soft and easy to throw on. It definitely eases my mind to know that if somehow a bug does make it into my house my pillow is protected. I've previously purchased the least expensive pillow protectors available thinking that the quality wouldn't vary all that much from more expensive options. After recently buying new pillows I decided to go with these higher quality protectors and am glad that I did. We buy pretty expensive pillows and want them to last a long as possible. But, hey, people drool when they sleep and that will ruin a pillow over time. They may still work, but they look disgusting. So, as insurance, we cover our bed pillows with these covers. Yes, they are expensive. But they are very soft, strong, and comfortable.
