Pro: the beige and blue stripe colored base looked great. Assembly of base was very simple. Low price. Con: shades are very cheap looking and had many small creases and dents prior to assembly. Assembly is easy, just some velcro and pop in the metal supports. The velcro didn't attach very well at the top or bottom. The shades looked so junky, I swapped them for another set I had in storage. The poor quality of the shades probably accounts for the low price. I saw the same lamps at other online stores that cost twice the price. Bottom line, if you aren't picky about the quality of the shades, these are a great deal. Otherwise you may have to spend a little more to buy some decent shades. ... show more

    • Beautiful base!
I replaced a pair of dark bronze lamps in our bedroom with these brighter ceramic lamps. I love the colors of a soft mist green, teal and subtle brown tones with off white background. I like the light-colored cord with the touch button on the cord so I don't have to reach up near the bulb to turn it off and on. The only negative comment I have is the lamp shades were a bright white and they were rolled up and then you unroll them and secure them with hooks around the 2 gold rings, one at the top and one at the bottom. I know this made them very compact for shipping but wasn't the quality I wanted so I purchased new shades. Overall I would recommend these lamps. The height was perfect for our nightstands next to our king size bed which is fairly tall. ... show more

I love these lamps, however when I received them I was missing one set of metal rings to set up the 2nd shade. Amazon stepped up to the plate and is fixing this issue for me!!!! Love AMAZON

Not impressed with the shades. Plastic backing and a Velcro seam. Kinda cheap looking. The lamps are very nice.
