These lamps are beautiful. They look wonderful on my bedside tables. I love the blue and white glass, the shape, and that they have the 3-way dimmable feature. The lamp shades were so easy to put together. Even though the metal parts are kind of cheesy the lamps yet look great. The lamps are awesome. I love the touch feature. No one in the middle of the night wants to be fiddling around in the dark trying to turn the light on. These you just touch on any of the metal parts and it's on. Keep touching to increase brightness. The ports for USB are a bonus. But they aren't terribly cute. Sort of wish they were on the back with the cord. But it's fine. But the lamp shade. Yucko! They are terrible. While they were easy to assemble they are not nice at all. The little clips that the hoops attach to are visible through the shade fabric and look bad. (the shade comes rolled. You unroll, attach either end with hook and loop tape and then insert hoops inside the top and bottom to make it an actual shade.) The fabric itself isn't very nice. The attachment points with hook and loop are not nice either but you can put it towards the wall so it's not a deal breaker. I would suggest either: 1. going to Ikea and getting something nicer OR 2. covering this shade with some nice fabric using spray adhesive. At the very least, using some ribbon to cover the top and bottom areas where the clips show. And to make matters worse, one of my shades had little black marks on it in two places. Ugh. The lamps themselves are so pretty and a great value, so really only taking one star off for the dumb shades. ... show more

This is one of the best buys I've made. We originally bought 2 of these for the bedroom, however they are too beautiful to be hidden so we have them on our end tables in the living room. I love they have plug ins to charge your phone etc.

I bought the blue and white lamps. They appeared in the listing to have a transparent quality to the lamp base which is what I was looking for but it is just blue and white striped. The shade is very cheap looking. I threw those out and used my own from another lamp set. Also used my own finials. I don't like the usb port on the front of the lamp. I am keeping because I plan on selling the house furnished next year anyway but wouldn't buy again. On the positive, it does match the room well, arrived the next day, easy to assemble and I like the touch feature. ... show more
