  • Versatile and Comfortable Gaming Companion
I recently purchased the SENZER X100 Wireless Gaming Headset and it has been an impressive addition to my gaming setup. The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, making it easy to switch between my PS5, PC, and even my Nintendo Switch without any hassle. The clear audio quality has enhanced my gaming experience, ensuring I don’t miss any critical audio cues during intense gaming sessions. What really stands out is the customized side plates which add a personalized touch to the headset. The memory foam pads are a game-changer for comfort, especially during long gaming marathons. They fit snugly around my ears without creating any discomfort, and the padding on the headband means I barely feel it on my head even after hours of use. The versatility of the SENZER X100 is further extended with the inclusion of a 3.5mm wired option, making it compatible with my Xbox that doesn’t support Bluetooth headphones. The microphone is flexible and detachable, which is convenient for when I’m just listening to music. ... show more

  • Superb sound quality for a low priced headset! 5-Stars for i am pleasantly surprised!
Unboxing was a breeze. For a budget headset, I have to say I am quite impressed at the sound quality this headset delivers, which I can say for certain nearly rivals what I get on the high end headsets that I own. This headset works with: PS5, PS4, PC/Laptops via USB dongle; PC/Laptops, Nintendo Switch, Mac, smartphones via Bluetooth mode; & Compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series devices via 3.5mm cable only. Worth mentioning that: -3.5mm will also work with Windows and PS5 controller, however, once in 3.5mm mode all other functions on the headset is completely disabled. -Bluetooth & dongle audio will not work simultaneously. Now that the basic stuff is out of the way, let's dive in to my findings. === - BUILD QUALITY: Headset style is over ear. I have to say one of the best things about this headset is the weight. This headset is so lightweight you'll almost forget you're wearing it. It would go with you for long gaming hours and you won't feel uncomfortable at any given point in time. A major plus this is, as having a lightweight headphone to wear for long hours on end is very important for overall comfort. | Headband frame is plastic, feels high quality & quite sturdy, appears the type that will potentially stand the test of time. Inner suspended headband is soft fabric, nicely padded and easily adapts to the size of your head. Ear-cups material is made of soft leather, skin friendly and nicely padded as well, feels comfortable to wear for long hours. These swiveling cups can be pivoted above and below the ears to get the best snug position. The plastic covers for the ear cups are interchangeable and fully customizable, there is an extra pair provided in the box. | Button layout: The buttons on the headset are well positioned & easily accessible. The mic mute button is quite bold & easy to reach. The power button & the mode button on the right side of the cup are also, equally within reach. Props to Senzer here. Volume controls has the play/pause button, volume levels & track skip. - SOUND: This headset comes with 50mm drivers & a Frequency range of 20 - 20khz providing a very decent threshold for heavy bass music & good quality treble at the same time. This headset surprisingly holds out on its own under VERY heavy bass music. I tested this headset with the same Neutral EQ settings & music that I use on the other high-end headsets that I own and this headset drivers hardly got over-exerted and I never experienced any major, noticeable sound distortion at high volumes as I did on my other headsets. I also notice this headset does a little bit of noise canceling while listening to music (even though its not a feature that is specifically mentioned in the details); Thumbs up to Senzer. | The Mic. One of the major highlights of this headset is the mic boom. This here a flex mic boom which allows me to flip the mic in any position I want and it stays there. At first I was hoping this headset comes with a flip to mute mic instead, but having a flex boom combined with using the mute button equally works. Though a flip to mute mic I always find more convenient. Worth mentioning that the mic also has a decent amount of noise canceling too. I tested this with the Ps5 mic monitor & I don't seem to be getting the background noise with my voice in the feedback. Thumbs up. - CONNECTION: I have to say plugging this headset's USB dongle to the Ps5 and getting it connected to the headset was seamless, I am impressed. All I had to do was just double press the mode button on the headset to switch to dongle mode and that was it! Connecting via Bluetooth to my mobile phone was equally a breeze. Double pressed the mode button to switch from dongle mode to Bluetooth, searched for the device on my phone in pairing mode and that was it. Same procedure goes for connecting to windows laptop. On windows, after connection, the device is listed on the windows Bluetooth devices screen with the battery life remaining. - BATTERY LIFE. Takes less than 3hrs to achieve a full charge from near empty battery and I use this for 3 consecutive days (at least 10hrs per day) without having to recharge in between. Only feature lacking is the ability to tap on a button to hear the battery level of the headset, would have been an additional neat feature to have. Overall i am impressed with the battery life. - VOICE PROMPTS: Nice to also have Timely voice prompts whenever there is a user input or device connection happening at any given point in time. I get voice prompts: When Bluetooth gets connected/disconnected | Power on & off | When switching modes | Mic on or off. Also, i get beeps when dialing up volume and i hit max volume or lowest volume (i always like my headsets to have this). Now that I've gone over pretty much everything that I love about this headset.. Here are a few cons I feel are worth mentioning for parts where I feel the headset could use some improvements.. & overall, if not lacking, would have made this headset easily the absolute BEST budget headset in the market! Areas that could use some Improvement: | Headband is not manually adjustable. While the suspended headband is able to automatically adjust and adapt to user's head, it would be very nice if it had manually adjustable sliders which can be extended or retracted as desired to get the perfect snug and over ear positioning of the cups. But this headset with the suspended headband still makes it very versatile nonetheless and i reckon including the sliders will have driven up the price point either ways. | Volume control is not very tactile. You have to push the volume control repeatedly to achieve your desired audio level.... While..you will need to hold the volume controls in either the up or down direction to skip tracks. This is quite counterintuitive and should have been designed the other way around instead. I often don't have to skip tracks when listening to music, so designing the track skip controls to be a hold down mechanic instead of jog/push? just isn't the best design. ***Volume controls are better held down instead to turn volume up or down. While for skipping tracks, the controls should rather be designed as double pushed (in this case) forward to track advance, pushed back once to restart current track & double pushed back to move to previous track. ***The current track skip control design on this headset cannot move to previous track unfortunately (i tried everything), It is only able restart current track or advance to next track. However, i am able to do this more precisely on the audio playback device itself instead if the need arises. Also, i occasionally experience the volume control getting stuck in the down position {the video showing this will be attached to this review later} when I'm trying to lower volume or advance track and it would not return to its neutral position upon releasing it. But Pushing in the up direction doesn't have any problems returning to the neutral position,.. so I'll like to believe maybe i got a faulty unit. | Mic mute indicator LED is placed above the mic mute button. This could have been placed close to the tip of the mic boom instead in form of a red LED ring., that way I am able to easily see if my mic is hot or not. Also, when you press the mic mute button... Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between when the voice is saying mic "OFF" or mic "ON". The "OFF" needs to be enunciated properly. Its also harder to tell especially when the music i am listening to is loud,.. a good idea for this to work better is for the Voice prompt to momentarily lower the volume of the music being played so that the voice prompt can be clearly heard. However, with a red ring LED indicator placed close to the end of the mic boom instead...the voice announcement wouldn't have really mattered because the LED at the boom end will already indicate if my mic is muted or not. When Mic is ON (unmuted) a red LED indicator is shown above the mute button. When the Mic is off (Muted) the LED doesn't show. **The indicator LED should rather show Red when the Mic is muted, while the LED should be off or blue/green when the mic is hot. CLOSING REMARKS: The cons I just highlighted above are entirely based on my personal experiences & the features I always like to see on any headsets I intend to own as having a headset with an all round balanced ergonomics largely plays a significant role in having a generally positive user experience. On a side note, For a gaming headset like this.. We could use some Extra features like breathing RGB lights & active noise canceling.. But within the confines of what this headset says it can do and it's price range? It does EVERYTHING really really well without issues. While this headset doesn't boast of all the intelligent features you will typically find on the other high end brands,.. It really does holds out on its own pretty well. How well this headset will stand the test of time in terms of durability and wear...is yet to be determined. Overall I am going to just say this is a very remarkable piece of hardware.. And the level of sound quality that this headset is able to produce for the price point is beyond impressive. I will be recommending this to my friends and any headset/gaming enthusiasts out there that would like to get a budget gaming headset that really delivers great sound quality and ease of use without breaking the bank! I once bought other brands that were around this price range & they performed horribly So...5 stars for I am pleasantly surprised at how incredibly good the sound quality of this headset is at the price point, quality of the mic audio, easy/seamless connections and broad compatibility with different platforms! BUY THIS & I assure you that you most certainly will get the best bang for your buck! ... show more

  • Good battery life and wireless connectivity
This is a nice headset at about the $40 price point. I wouldn't suggest this for the most competitive first-person shooter players, but for casual gaming, this has some nice features. PS5, PS4, and PC / Mac work with no problem. Xbox players should look elsewhere as all the wireless features are not available. Blame Xbox, not this headset. Only a few work on both. Sound and Mic quality are on the low end, but again the price is right, and the comfort is good. Also, you can order customized ear cup designs for the outer panels on Senzer's website, which is really cool. I rated "Noise cancellation" a two because true noise cancellation is not present (it's a $40 headset), but the ear cups do help eliminate outside noise. Let me know if you have any questions. ... show more

  • These headsets are awesome!
This headset is a perfect example of how you do not need to buy an expensive gaming headset. It's very comfortable to wear and is very light. The sound is surprisingly excellent. The battery life is great so far. I have not used the mic yet as I have a dedicated mic that I use so I can't say much here other than I wish it was removable but this is a nitpick. The interchangeable ear plates make it great for customization as well. I have made my own on the Senzer website and it just shipped today. I will update this review once I receive it but I will mention that it is cheap too. Each custom pair of plates will only cost you $10. Overall, I highly recommend this headset. I want to mention that I owned another headset from this company called the Senzer SG550, another great headset for its price. ... show more
