I purchased this for the first time a couple of years ago and gave it to a friend of mine who needed it when I moved. It was absolutely great for Taking videos when no one else was around or photos. My friend, who is a therapist chose to use this instead of her laptop & zoom. So it’s very versatile. You have a few options for lighting color. The stand is great because it can be lower on a desk or it can stand up higher. It’s very durable. She still has the one I gave her and it’s working just like it’s brand new. A good product, however you have to plug it into a laptop with a USB connection or get an adapter to plug into an electrical outlet. Highly annoying that there isn't a battery component. I would have liked the option to use this product wirelessly. You have to make sure there's an outlet nearby or have a table to place your laptop on in order to plug in the product to use the light ring. Which is not very convenient. The light ring does work well and has several light adjustments. The tripod is light, stable, and easy to use. This product would have gotten 5 stars if it had a battery component. ... show more

I have done A LOT of research to find the perfect Tri-pod that is affordable. This is the best one I have found. It is lightweight, SUPER bright, and everything works on it. It comes with a bag and clicker for when you want to take pictures from a distance. Lastly, it's SO easy to take apart if you want to store it or take it with you while traveling. The media could not be loaded. I bought this light on January 25, 2024. As of this review it is March 16, 2024. The ring light randomly turns off after a few minutes, and in some cases it turns off about 10 seconds after I turn it back on. The tripod works great, but the ring light does not work that well. I don’t recommend this product EDIT: This light works as expected. The seller is great. They offered to refund me the full amount of the light, but my gut was telling me that I needed to use a different USB adapter. I originally gave it 2 stars because the light kept turning off, but it turns out I was using a USB plug that could not handle the amp draw when the light was at the maximum setting. I changed the USB plug and tested this without issue. One thing that I would change is to make the spring phone holder extend out past the ring light a little bit to handle different usbc/lightning accessories when plugged in. I have a lav mic I use with my iphone, but the lav mic plugin does not fit inside the ring light, An easy fix for this is to take off the iphone mount component and 'flip it' so that it extends outwards I included a video of what that might look like. ... show more

I do like this. Assemble for pretty easy with the pictures to follow. I think the quality and size are good for me. I do see the difference between having it and not having this lightening for picture and video quality. The thing I didn't like was the battery back for the remote. I took it off and it wasn't easy to go back on. Had to get ny husband involved who said something was bent, I don't know how that happen all I did was slide the back off. Anyways, it's all good now.
