This alto saxophone and case were in terrible shape. First, the ad showed a nice, saxophone-shaped case and a metal cover for the mouthpiece. Neither came with the horn. The case was a beat up rectangular case that had rusty hinges and smelled so strongly of mold that it made the room smell. No mouthpiece cover included. The saxophone itself was corroded over most of the metal from what looked like long exposure to moisture. The keys/pads were extremely leaky so you had to blow very hard to produce any sound at all. This purchase was a big disappointment and I hope no one else has the same experience. ... show more

    • Had to take it to have repairs made.
It needed new cork and a piece on it was broken and needed to be welded. It cost $85.00 to have it fixed so it could be played.
