For the people who said one end was missing. Look closely to what you purchased. It says they are on one end so you can add beads or trim to the size you want. You will need to add the coil to the other end yourself. Crimping it is hard but you can always glue them.

I make wrapped gemstone pendants. I love that one end is open for me to slide the pendant onto the cord. The unattached end is easy to put together. Just clamp down on the end of the metal piece. The cords have been staying in place for me. Will be a repeat purchase.

Love these easy to work with necklaces. I love the fact that everything goes on easily and then they are easy to attach the ends. I actually didn’t pay attention to how the other end was attached and tried mashing the entire metal part down. Once I realized that you only have to mash one wire on the very end down it worked well. If I had to say one thing negative about it it would be that the chain part is made cheaply. But I’m not selling these, I’m attaching charms and giving them away as part of our ministry at church so they work just fine. I proudly wear mine. Great purchase in my opinion. ... show more

    • They are meant to be detached!
These worked perfectly for making necklaces. Many people think they are broken because the other end isn’t attached, but that is so you can put the charm on and then attach it with pliers. Great quality.

    • If you know how to use it and have a big enough bead...go for it
The quality of this product is OK. The real problem is that it is so large it will not thread through most beads. And, the closure process of the end that is made to finsh the piece is not clear. There are no instructions... Leaving you to guess how to finish the item. It was pretty useless. I finally did make a bead work on it and tried to use glue (nope) and tried crimping the end (Looked horrible)... I'm no pro jeweler but I absolutely see no use. ... show more

All of my clasps work, and the metal and chain look good. The cords look good and drape nice. All my ends are well cut to fit in the end pieces. My one problem is the chemical smell. I've been letting them off gas in a large open room. Individually they don't smell, but all together there's still a chemical smell probably from the dye or a coating. They don't scent your hands, so I'm hoping it goes away. Mine are very easy to close with needle nose pliers. You just squeeze the end of the wire gently to clamp it down on the cord ... show more

Just about every necklace we used, broke during the first wear. I am the Team Mom of my son’s football team; I had a majority of the team (and parents) coming over for a little team bonding- I put these out with an assortment of beads; each kid made their own necklace (with the name and jersey number..along with extras)...and I want to say that every ones necklace broke. Very dissatisfied. Will not order again! ... show more
