  • Cross your fingers and be careful
I've purchased four or five boxes at different times and I have experienced some broken cones like others have mentioned. The worst box I've received still had 18 out of 25 intact. That may seem frustrating but honestly, the fact that I can just click click on amazon and get them fast cancels out some of the loss. Not ideal, but not terrible. I've had some boxes with one or two broken. They're manufactured in pairs to mitigate potential breaks. If you're careful you can snap them apart with few in any casualties. I believes I've broken ONE tip after separating 100. You really have to be mindful of applying equal, even pressure across the entire seam. ... show more

  • They confirmed I am getting the best out of my Kiln
They confirmed I am getting the best out of my Kiln. The cones provide proof I am attaining the needed temperature and hold time to set my glazes.

  • Can’t even use them
Very disappointed with this order. Purchased cone 6 cones. Went to load the kiln for the first time and put a few in with the firing. Upon opening the box there was literally ONE cone that was intact with a point. 90% of the rest have two cones adhered together. Cones are extremely fragile so there’s no way I can break them apart to use them. The ones that were not stuck together had points broken off. ... show more
