  • Great product!
I got this for my girlfriend for her birthday and it’s been wonderful! She’s used it a lot and have had no issues. It’s a great product and worth every penny.

  • Great little kiln
I ordered this kiln and the timer did not work. I emailed diamond craft and they sent me another kiln right away. The key is to email them because they will not answer the phone or call you back! Email they answer right away. This kiln is wonderful for the person just looking to do small glass fusing. So far I’ve made earrings. The key is to heat the glass slowly. This kiln heats up very fast so you have to heat for 2 min then wait a min before going to the next 2 min. If you heat the kiln 2 min at a time nothing breaks! You need infrared glasses because you will be looking in the kiln to check the glass often… as long as you heat slowly and stop between 12 -15 min you’ll get good results. Keep track of cooking time. When it’s done keep the lid down and wait at least 2 hours to cool. Wear gloves and mask when handling kiln paper and wash your glass and hands! I plan on getting a heat gun that you can shoot into the kiln for temperature. ... show more

  • Shatters all glass projects bigger than 2 1/2”
The only things I can successfully make in this kiln is glass beads. Every project over 2 1/2 “ shatters. I feel the kiln is defective and heats too fast. I attempted to return the item. Amazon approved the return then I received an email from the seller: Message from seller ShopRainbowArtGlass: Hi _______, Very sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with the kiln. Please be aware that you are attempting to return a completely used and functional kiln. Due to this, you most likely will not be eligible for a refund upon return of the item. We would rather tell you this ahead of time vs it being a surprise. Please contact Diamond Tech directly with all warranty related issues at 813-806-2923 such as the problem you're describing. If Diamond Tech informs us that this unit is in fact defective, then we will handle accordingly. Thank you, Jay S. ShopRainbowArtGlass I attempted several times to contact Diamond Tech and received voicemails with no return calls. I sent an email to ShoprainbowArtGlass explaining the situation and received no response. Now I’m stuck with a kiln that shatters every project over 2 1/2” and has cracked a mold. Very disappointed. ... show more

  • Quality
We like it. Used for making fused glass jewelry

  • Very pleased.
I am very happy with this kiln. I could not afford a “real” kiln so I purchased this one. The Fuseworks craft kiln does need slow heating, like a MK, but the results I’ve gotten have been very consistent thus far. Disclaimer: I have not tried more than 2 layers of glass.

  • My experience with Fuseworks Kiln
Great little kiln for the $$. Excellent for beginners. Slumps in about 10 minutes. Great for photo fusing. Cons: No pyrometer so I disassembled Paragon quickfire pyrometer, punched little hole in top of kiln to insert pyrometer tip. 11 minutes reached 1500F. After 20 uses elements bulged from fiber frame and stuck to glass. This problem needs to be corrected on future kilns. Great started kiln. Currently upgrading to Jen-Ken glass kiln. ... show more

  • Died after 20 uses.
We loved making glass pendants, but the kiln abruptly died after around 20 uses. We’ve had it 2 years.

  • Worthless for Jewelry enameling
It’s best to buy a Vevor kiln for the same price. This will always burn your enamel
