At first I was mildly disappointed that it was such a pale blue as to appear silver when I opened the box at night. But after having it for three days it’s quite grown on me. The color is very much dependent on the light and the angle you view it from. A friend said she subtly plays in light and shadow and I agree. As you can see in the photo sometimes the color is the softest serene blue. It’s actually calming. And the detail on the dial is beyond any comparison within that price range. This is a beautiful watch with a very elegant dial. Perfectly sized for those with smaller wrists where it sits elegantly. The 4R35 movement fills the whole case making for an interesting back side display. This one is a stunningly beautiful, relatively clean design watch.

Keeps good time and very durable. The Hardlex crystal seems to be as good as sapphire. I’ve had 2 of the Seiko watches and the crystals are like new despite my habit of banging my watch into door frames and the like.

It’s has really large dial. Pretty color. The double latch has a problem. One part comes undone at night. Need to take it somewhere and find out why
