  • Nice piece of furniture, instructions are mostly useless
Quick thoughts are that this bar cart is pretty well built for the price point. As some have pointed out the instructions are terrible, the center page staple that holds all the documents together is just a precursor for things to come. There are really just two unique cross pieces- these pieces are what the wine rack attaches to. Remember that from the start of building. In addition to this, the lower sections are both labeled “G” (by tag and instructions) so you need to keep a mental note of the which piece’s point the gussets inward for the glass supports (for G pieces). These little oversights resulted in many removals of bolts to rearrange parts. It was a huge pain. Overall I’m impressed with the construction, finishes and quality of the components. My recommendation is to assemble everything loosely intially, and tighten once everything is in place. On mine there were several threaded holes with dissatisfactory tapers which made for stubborn bolts. This was a gift which I assembled for a friend- I had to knock it a star for the bad instructions. If this was a project I’d bestowing on a friend (who isn’t inclined to building cheap furniture) and not a gift, I’d be less happy. Had to knock my review down a star for that. Knowing those two undocumented errors I pointed out here should avoid most headaches. The final product is really nice. The wheels are cheap but will do the job better than most in an apartment. Good value. ... show more

  • Some assembly issues but looks good
Mr Priscilla doing the assembling. It looks good once assembled but some problems and some assembly suggestions. Came with 2 extra screws but missing a dozen washers. You don't really need them as the screw heads are big enough. Some of the screw holes were not tapped out well so they were tight but could get them all in. Had a problem with the wheels. The toy wrench they give you will not help because the wrench binds up against the frame before the wheels are tight. Also the screws are floating so tightening the nut will just screw it off the end. I tightened the nut all the way down against the bottom to "lock" it so you could hand tighten them from the bottom. This worked for 3 but one was still floating. I got it tight enough to get it most of the way in. With a big screwdriver you can screw it in the rest of the way from the bottom inside the wheel frame. The QP was useless since it just went to the main site pointing at a fireplace insert. Image "2" looks like the H and I are marked backwards on the description. Just go with what matches the picture. When you get to Image "5" and "6" it's a lot easier to put "D" upside down on the floor and put the rest on top of it. It's way easier screwing down rather than up and where you can see the holes without standing on your head. "All's well tat ends well" but QA of the parts and directions could be a lot better ... show more

  • Not Hard, but More Difficult to Assemble than Instructions Indicate
First the positives: the bar cart is very sturdy and well-constructed. It holds bottles, glasses, and barware beautifully. The negative: the instructions have no words, only diagrams, which aren't terribly difficult to follow, except some of the parts have the same label but are not identical. For example, the two parts labelled "G" are not identical--one has holes which will eventually serve as an endpoint for the glass rack while the other doesn't have holes. Not paying attention to the holes caused me to have to disassemble the main pieces in order to reverse the two. I'd have labelled them with different letters. Also, pay attention to the wheel assembly, since two of the wheels have locks and should be under the handle, yet the instructions show them opposite. Once the wheels are inserted, they're nearly impossible to pull back out. Overall I'd buy it again but pay much closer attention as I was assembling it. ... show more

  • Beautiful barcart.
I absolutely love this bar cart. The package did come with many screws. I looked at the directions and it reminded me of Ikea directions. I looked out the directions and didt really follow them. The little wrench came with the barcart so I did not needto use any of my tools. I started by adding the bottom wheels to the car so that I could distinguish the bottom part easily. I then figured out the middle part. The middle part was the most confussing. I layed the barcart down so that I could easily work on building it. It took me about 2 hours. I really did not care for the black glass. I purchased marble contact paper and put it on the glass. This took about an hour. Slow and steady with the adhesive contact paper. Originally I purchased some on Amazon but it was not wide enough. I actually found nice and cheaper contact paper at Lowes. I purchased the Duck 20-in x 15-ft White Marble Shelf Liner at Lowes. I wanted to make sure that it was long and wide enough to cover the glass without any seams. My bar cart looks legit. It looks like I purchased the bar cart from restoration hardware. ... show more

  • Great cart that is difficult to assemble
I love everything about this cart except putting it together. Assembly of this cart was a massive pain, and the drilled holes in the metal did not always perfectly line up. That being said, once it's built it looks elegant and is sturdy enough to hold a lot of different glasses, decanters, and liquor bottles. It was a little bigger than I expected, but that's on me because they do list the measurements, and it still fits nicely in against a small wall or in a corner.. Overall I highly recommend this cart as long as you have the patience to assemble it. ... show more

  • Buy This
This cart is perfect. It was easy to assemble. Just know not to tighten ANY hardware until all is in, finger tight. It is also large and sturdy. I was able to fit all of my items but I needed to turn the middle shelf in order to make use of both shelves. If you decide to turn the shelve be sure to pay attention to the wine rack holder holes. I didn’t follow the directions because I flipped the shelve. I looked at one of the pictures from the reviews and just put it togethe from the photo from a fellow reviewer. It’s great that it only requires one size of bolts, really makes it simple to assemble. My best advice is to watch the price, it fluctuates greatly. ... show more
