  • Very Satisfied
I have used this tool for several operations. It works great for framing, I also used it for compressing wagon wheels. Strong enough so you can put lots of pressure on the straps.

  • Really an excellent strap clamp for weird angles
Pretty easy to use. I had a chair that was broken by a guest (vacation rental). Hard to clamp after doweling it up. Bought this as I only had fairly short band clamps. Worked like a charm! There are multiple angles on the chair, but the clamp was able to grab it OK. One thing I would like to see would be some kind of non-slip, non-marring face on the angle brackets. I had to get it pretty tight for them to not slide down the chair back stiles. Still, full 5 stars for a good working clamp. ... show more

  • Hold frames well, easy to store and no marks on materials
I love this tool. It was a bit cumbersome to start with but it's easy once you test it a few times. Four stars because I think it should have some retractable method of storing the length of the ribbon.....rather than by hand? Otherwise, it was fine for framing and easy to get the frame squared up if your cuts are square :-) I will use often, I think I can control it as well as a jig set up once I do a few more frames. ... show more

  • Great corner strap clamps
I purchased several of these and am not sorry I did. They are invaluable for clamping any sort of box or frame. They are lightweight but well built. They provide even pressure around the object being clamped. They're easy to use and easy to store when done. Not the sort of tool I need everyday, but great when I do. I can recommend. ... show more

  • Works great
Worked great for my project.

  • Be careful!
Can't use on a flat table with small parts. They will pop off. Corners must be in the center of the strap so the pressure will be even. That requires most picture frames to be raised off the table. Not good. Great for cabinets and boxes.

  • Great Clamp for the Price
Works as expected and did a great job clamping the picture frame I made while the glue set. My only wish is that there was a take-up spool for the excess strap material rather than have it freely hanging loose.

  • works but better options out there
I purchased both the Sedy frame clamp and the Powertec frame clamp. They were both priced about the same (within a dollar or two) but the Powertec clamp is a much higher quality and better built clamp. The tightening mechanism works more smoothly and the corner straps are held on better with the Powertec. The quality of materials is much better on the PowerTec as well. I would not buy a second Sedy clamp. I would buy multiple PowerTec clamps. Sorry Sedy, you lose the head-to-head comparison. ... show more
