I purchased this bundle to use in Mexico, and after a few uses i have to say it was well worth the money! This is my first time using a dry snorkel, and it make everything so much easier. The snorkel is very well made and functioned exactly as it should, i never got water in my mouth. The mask worked great too, but i did find myself having to clear out the fogged up lens pretty regularly, but that could just be Because it wasnt tight enough, or too tight, etc (im not a snorkel expert). But the mask was comfortable to wear for hours. My only reluctance when buying this set was the fins, the reviews seemed pretty mixed on them, but i figured for the price, even if they are terrible, its not a big loss. The fins fit perfectly and easily adjusted to my foot size. They felt sturdy and worked great! In heavy ocean currents they easily propelled my 170 pounds through the water without feeling like they were going to break. But i should note, these are REEF fins, so they are short and designed to be used for swimming around reef/coral etc. If you are wanting to do deep sea scuba diving, you should get fins that are made for that. Pros. 1) The fins were easy to put on and take off. The short length worked well for the reef snorkeling I did, so I wasn't afraid of clipping coral when I would snorkel in the shallows. Also powerful enough to get you through the water. 2) It fit well in my luggage and wasn't too heavy. Cons: 1) The mask would fog regularly. Even with defogger fluid applied. I'm not sure why? 2) The seal was not always great - especially if you're wearing sunscreen on your face. There was leakage - especially in the nose area. 3) The snorkel elbow sometimes kinked and I'd have to readjust it to get airflow. It felt "soft". 4) The snorkel did not allow breathing outside the water - which was difficult when trying to do a quick adjustment of the mask or straps. This could be a "me" issue, but I've never had an issue breathing through a snorkel prior to getting into the water or popping my head out to make an adjustment. My grandson is small but mighty for his age. We purchased the XS for him and a S for his 7 year old brother who is slightly small for his age. Both work great for the boys and are easily adjusted. For the price, these are hard to beat. Everything worked as advertised, and none of the three that I bought broke after a week's worth of kid to teenage use. My only other snorkel set is called the Reef Tourer by Tusa, which I don't even know if they make anymore. If I had paid the same price (Tusa's were $60) then these would have gotten a 3 or 4 star rating, but I'm adding 1 or 2 stars for the stellar price. They work fine, but they aren't top of the line. The fins are hard plastic inserts in rubber vs all rubber construction. The corrugated piece of snorkel tube actually makes it a little floppy, so it took some finesse while snorkeling to get it working right. Not constant, but consistent adjustments while in use. The mask and snorkel were great (even for diving while snorkeling) but I did have to put a different clip on the snorkel to keep it connected to the mask. The clip it came with would not stay. It also allowed us to snorkle on beaches around the island that we could access by road.     • Exactly what I was looking for

Bought this set for a Caribbean cruise, as we love to snorkel in ports. I wanted to get a new snorkel and fins and wanted something of good quality without breaking the bank. The silicone on the mask is nice and soft and felt much more comfortable on my face than my previous mask. It didn't even leave marks on my face. The fins were a decent enough length for me to snorkel down about 15-20 feet for best videos of fish at the bottom. I was skeptical because of the low price, but they did not rub blisters on my feet like other fins did, and I did not wear socks with them. Also, I ordered the small fins (I wear size 7 shoe) and my husband was able to try them out with the adjustable strap (he wears size 13 shoe). The snorkel is my favorite snorkel I've ever used. Its flexible design and easy snap mask clip allowed it to fit nicely along my face without tiring my jaw like other snorkels. The best part is the float at the top of the snorkel that keeps water from pouring in when you dive down in the water. It isn't a problem for me to clear an old fashioned snorkel without a vent or float, but this was a nice treat. It was so easy to use that my five year old learned how to snorkel by using it. (He's too little to clear a traditional snorkel.) The only negative thing I have is that I have a very small face so I had to get the mask to just the right spot on my face for best performance, but I didn't have any leaks after snorkeling for hours. Most people shouldn't have a problem with this, however. I like the variety of colors to choose from and the drawstring bag makes it easy to carry on and off the beach.
