    • Good set up but needs better adhesive.
Bought this in September 2021. Installation was a breeze following the recommended process. Worked great for 7 months, then one of the adhesives failed and a second one on the way. The adhesives pads are still 100% secure to the board, but the plastic part came up from the adhesive strip. I’m going to try and add some epoxy to the back of the plastic part and reattach to the board. I’m also going to loosen up how tight I have to cord pulled w/o any gear. I suspect the tension especially with gear was pulling too tight and caused the failure. ... show more

    • DIY SUP bungee deck kit - mostly reliable
Bought my 1st set of this deck kit from REI (same manufacturer) in March 2020. One of the four failed within 6 months, with plastic part separating from adhesive pad. Mfg was backordered on the black triangles for a while, with only neon green option. Opted to use "Airhead SUP Suction Cup Tie Downs" and wait for the black set to be available again. The Suction Cup alternative worked great, and will continue to use them. Just replaced the failed piece. Hope it lasts -- the other three are showing no signs of failure. I now have three spares in case something should happen. These are great for hard/fiberglass boards that didn't come with bungee loops pre-installed. Still recommend. ... show more

    • Good potential/style but isn't working perfectly
Installed on a SUP with a soft top - seemed to stick OK up front (its a bit difficult to know where to put the brackets, no template or instruction on distances/etc) -- after the first trip out on a calm day (Chesapeake Bay area creek, brackish water) one of the four brackets popped off. We had it holding down the lifejacket with not too much pressure. From there the adhesive side got wet and a bit dirty -- I let it dry off and restuck it to the board but my confidence is very low that it will now stick for good (wish I had an extra 3M sticker to replace the spent one). Guessing I may have to come back with superglue or maybe even screw the brackets into the board (?) for them to stay although the other three never popped off. We'll try again next weekend to see how they hold up. ... show more

I put these on the insides of my aluminum starcraft to hold the life jackets in place and out of the foot space. It works very well.

    • This is 100% worth the $ bought a second set for another board!!
Our paddle boards did not come with back storage, these are perfect 4 point to add on to out inflatable boards! Better adhesive than 2 other brands we tried!!! Bought a second set for the other board we loved them so much!

    • Streamlined and easy
The lash points are nice and low profile. However, if you want to connect a standard J-hook to them, they are too slimline to fit. These will really only work for the elastic cord provided and can’t accept other types of connectors.

    • Work great if you prep the board.
I use these on rental boards and I have not had any issues with these popping off of the boards with the included adhesive, even when temps are 100 f plus. I don't know how others prepped their boards, but I cleaned the surface with simple green and when that dried I used acetone. After peeling the backing off I held pressure for a minute and waited a day to put them in the water again. Months of use and no issues with the rental boards. I wish they came in white too.
