Features

  • Designed by Seamax and now it is the 2nd edition released in 2019. Seamax Deluxe Boat Launching Wheels system is made by the marine grade T6 aluminum alloy with CNC processing and shiny looking anodized coating against the corrosion. Thus the product is good for saltwater use. Small parts are all made by solid stainless steel and reinforced Nylon. The air filled tire is lab-tested (1000 LBS), and is great to support a MAX loading of 600 LBS in all condition.
  • BENEFIT of its new design - With the 4 stages of length and 4 wheel arm position, the dolly can be adjusted while afloat in the boat, leaving or coming into the dock. The dolly system can also bring different performance positions for boat launching. The wheel arm length increment is 2.5 per stage. Plus the wheels diameter, the range of length is 23 - 30 inches. It is a great add-on for inflatable, aluminum and fiberglass boats.
  • The wheel arm has 60 and 90 locking position to move up and down. The upper-60 position can free up more space on the top and side of the transom. The lower 60 position lets the wheels run at the same level as the prop, and thus turns the wheels as a prop guard when boat launching.
  • The transom bracket installation area is about 8 x 3 inches. Shorter transom bracket design brings more possible installation for all type of boats with different transom. The brackets can be installed at the waterline top position, so to avoid the water comes into the screw holes. We had developed a profile for the transom bracket in 2019. Now the bracket only requires 2 bolts to install. Easier to put it on your boat with the same loading capacity.
  • TRIPLE heavy duty, TRIPLE quality made! Product is made by Seamax Canada with 2 years limited warranty and 100% Customer Satisfaction guaranteed! The Quick Operation Features of the Deluxe Boat Dolly include - spring load locking pin for wheel arm position adjustment; solid spring load buttons for wheel arm length adjustment; and quick released lock pin for wheel arm and wheel bearing.

Description

ADJUSTABLE DESIGN: These wheels have 4 adjustment positions for length and angle to adjust the leg length, push in the spring-loaded buttons on each side of the leg and either pull or push to lengthen or shorten. To adjust the leg angle, push down on the spring-loaded bar near the top of the leg assembly and move the leg assembly to the desired location. To remove the leg assembly from the bracket, pull out the quick release pin located at the top of the leg assembly. Our new tires are now 12” in diameter and about 4” wide. They are made of 4 ply reinforced vehicle grade natural rubber which holds up well against UV rays, heat and salt water for up to ten years INSTALLATION: This dolly set should only be installed by an adult with some experience in working with tools. To install the wheelset properly, you will need to drill 5/16” holes in the plywood transom for the mounting brackets. It is very important to locate the position of the holes correctly. Please check carefully including checking the wheel arm position before starting to drill any holes. MAINTENANCE: Wash it after using it from saltwater or sandy beach. Check tire pressure before every using. Don’t store the wheels under the sun or beside the heat to maximize its lifetime. Take the wheel arm off from the transom bracket when storing your boat. Lube the spring load dolly system if needed. Always keep the lock pin on the dolly bracket. TIRE INFLATION: Dolly tires may not be fully inflated when shipping; please only give 15-20 PSI pressure at room temperature before using. Best to use a car tire digital air pump to prevent tire over-inflation. Tire over-inflated will cause damage and the warranty is not covered. 14" Dual wheel upgrade kit is available for this Deluxe boat launching wheelset for heavy loading application or sandy beach use. We suggest the boat 14ft and up to use this upgrade kit, then you can have a wide enough transom to support 4 wheels operation.

  • Quality made. Does the job.
Very well designed and built. Fits well. Works great!

  • You won't be sorry
This is just a fantastic, well engineered product that will last years. The aluminum is thick and strong. The wheels are air filled. I put some Slime in the tubes to avoid flats, as the ground I run over has a lot of thorn vines. It's a simple matter of lining up the mounting brackets vertically. Drill a couple of holes each side, add some sealant to be sure the holes are water tight, and bolt the brackets on. The wheels and arms are easily removable by removing 1 retaining pin on each side. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Worth the extra money!
I purchased this item over the cheaper version for two reasons. The fist and to me the most important feature is that once you are in the water and the weels are up they can be at an angle away from the boat and out of the way or the motor leaving you more room for tight turns. The second reason is its rigid structure and high quality of its built not to mention it only requires six hole in the transom and to me thats worth it the less holes in the transome the better your off. My only concern at time of purchase where the weeks look to be cheap plastic on the pictures but uppon arrival I am glad to report that is not the case they are good ruber andthe air valves are actually at an angle facing outward making inflation a breze unlike my friends cheaper weels belice me its not fun trying to inflate the cheaper weels. I am confident these weels will last me a a lifetime just keeping them piled after each season after all even aluminum rust eventually but not if taken preventions. Conclusion, yes they are more money, yes shipping is alot BUT if you have a good boat you dont want cheap weels that weels that might ruin your perfect day before it even beggins worth every penny because you wont have to replace them. ... show more

  • So Far So Good!
I got these for my Lowe 1240 Jon Boat (see pics). Some of the reasons I got these are: 1, Hand launch pretty much anywhere a canoe or kayak can launch; 2, Easy to move the boat around the garage and yard when doing work on it or storing; 3, Didn't need/want a trailer as I can put the boat in the back of my pickup which brings us back to reason #1, being able to hand launch. My Jon weighs approximately 110 lbs dry, add my Merc 6 HP and that adds about 60 lbs, so now you're looking at 170 plus whatever gear I add when I go fishing. I can move this around pretty easily loaded as is. With additional trolling motor, battery and anchors that will probably add another 70 to 100 lbs. I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the kit as I only had seen vids and pics on the web before I received them. Installation was very easy. It will vary depending on your boat and transom. My top holes/bolts were perfect length and I was able to use the included Acorn Nuts to secure on the inside, leaving a nice clean finish and no rough bolt and nut ends to catch skin or clothing. The bottom holes I went to the hardware store and got shorter bolts since the boat was much thinner there. I was then able to use the Acorn Nuts to do the same as the top holes. I used Loctite Marine PL in the holes and on the mounting brackets to keep things watertight. So far I'm happy with the installation. Most of my launch areas will be existing ramps that have decent access. Depending on how much I load the boat and the terrain I'm going over, there could be a few areas these could be hard to move in but if that happens you take a bit out of the boat and improvise. From some of the setups I've seen, mine looks to be just on the lighter side. Other boats I've seen using there have been bigger inflatables with 50hp outboards on the back launching on sandy/rocky beaches. I've also seen 14 and 16 foot Jons using these to hand launch. As long as your total weight doesn't go over the recommendation of the wheel kit, and you can lift it and move it, these can work for many types and sizes of boats. Also, I did call SeaMax with some questions before I made the purchase. They were very helpful and answered all my questions concerning installation and usage. Two HUGE Thumbs up for that! I hope this review has provided useful information in your decision making process. I will update if needed or if I run across anything else that may be useful. ... show more

These wheels worked perfectly on my dinghy! They come with everything you need for installation, minus marine grade sealant. I was initially hesitant because of the price but once I unboxed and saw the quality of the product I knew I made the right decision. They’re easy to adjust and well designed. These are second to none and I highly recommended if you’re looking for an easy solution to launch your dinghy! ... show more

  • Would be 5 stars easy if it had all the parts
These are super well made sturdy wheels! I put the bow of my dinghy in the back of our truck and tie it in with a rope and climbing clip and have gone 25mph around a few campgrounds now. The only problem is that they came missing a cotter pin. I looked and relooked and no pin and it is a beefy higrade stainless one. I called and explained and the customer service person said (in broken English) maybe I could find one locally. I replied that I just paid almost $250 for wheels and thought they should come with all the parts. Anyway I never got the cotter pin and complained again and finally went and ended up with something close from a local hardware store... ... show more

  • user friendly instructions and an easy accessory to mount on my inflatable 12ft boat
High quality, user friendly instructions and an easy accessory to mount on my inflatable 12ft boat. I took my inflatable out one time with a 13 year old boy. The boat weighs 100 pounds and the floor another 80. I can assemble the boat myself in 25 minutes but it then takes two men to move it to water. Luckily there was another man at the lake to help me launch, as it was a bit heavy for the kid. Measured twice, drilled once and now with my attached wheels can move boat easily by myself, even with motor attached.. ... show more

  • Amazing engineering and outstanding reliability after 5 years of ocean use in California !
After 5 years of use in the ocean this system works as good as new!i upgraded to 4 wheels, since much better performance on soft sand beach, less sinking. Very sturdy, high quality construction. However i rinse with freshwater each time I use it in the ocean and I greased the locking pins with high quality marine grease.Extremely satisfied. I had no difficulty to replace an inner tube on one of the wheels, easily found it on amazon and did it myself in my garage. Great buy, highly recommended ! ... show more
