I will think about it twice before buying from this seller. This item is listed as being "rustproof galvanized," when in fact it is painted, whish makes is susceptible to rusting, specially in salt water. THIS ITEM IS NOT GALVANIZED, NOR RUST PROOF!

This is my second set, for the same boat the first set one of the pipes vibrated out, even though the bolts were as tight as they could be, and as you can see if you got a windy day, you gotta be really careful, but the clamp could be a lot thicker steel And they should send a screw to screw the guide arm and the bracket holder. Also, I just got the second set to replace the one that was lost and to fix this one that bent very easy and found out that they Sent me you bolts too wide to help snug it up on the boat trailer So I’m trying to use the U-bolt from the old brackets until I can get them to send me the correct width brackets ... show more

I ordered these because they were noted as galvanized, they are not. They are powder coated. If your boat goes in saltwater, these will rot right off the seller needs to correct their description, others are complaining to.
