  • One of the best
Size: 12-Pounds Color: Clear
This is one of the best out there. Everyone has their own opinion. So in my opinion this is one of the best lines out there and I have been fishing for a little over 40 years. One of my favorite lines to use.

I found this line to be OK and way overpriced, I am sold on braided lines

  • Exceptional value and quality Flouro Line with the same qualities as Seagar Premier!
Size: 25-Pounds Color: Clear
Super thin high quality flouro. Excellent for stealthy saltwater fishing rigs! I’ve been purchasing Seagar Blue and Premier Flouro line for many years. It’s simply the best IMO. When I found this Tatsu line, it looked like it had the same line diameter and strength as Seagar Premier at half of the price. Considering how many Pompanonrigs I tie, that’s a good thing. I used it to tie about 25 Pompano rigs using a Snoot (dropper loop rig with one end cut) as my dropper line. I then place a float on the line and snelled my hooks to the end. One the top end of the rig I used a figure 8 loop to attach the rig to my main line. At the bottom of the rig I tied on a snap swivel to attach a pyramid weight. These rigs are quick and easy to tie and they are super stealthy. I caught a bunch of Pompano and for the most part, they performed very well. I say for the most part because several did break in normal conditions. Yet, some rigs were so strong that I was able to drag in some very large drums and stingrays. The question about durability is still open. Some rigs seemed to break way to easily. I must say that this could be because I did a poor job tying the knot or I simply didn’t lubricate it enough when cinching it tight. I had rigs break in weird ways, but I’ve seen this with even the most expensive lines. Catfish with sandpaper teeth could also compromise the line if they swallowed the hook. Again, this is true even with mono. Amazingly, A few Pompano pros asked me how I was getting so many bites when they weren’t. I pointed them to this line. None of them had ever heard of it. Many asked if I would loan them one of my rigs. One went exclusively to this rig type I er a rig that they had tied and used for many years. It works! So, in synopsis, this line is high quality very stealthy, super thin Flouro line. It not only caught me a lot of fish, I was regularly getting higher quality fish than the people I fished with. Is it better or equal to Seagar Premier? I cannot answer that yet and I don’t know that I’ll go through enough effort to determine this. Realize that when you fish with super light line in saltwater, you’ll get way more bites, but you’ll also break a few off. The breaking strength of a dropper loop rig is known to compromise line strength! In the end, you’ll need to decide if losing a few rigs is worth getting more bites. I highly recommend this line. My only wish is that it came in line strength up to 60#. ... show more

  • Expensive but premium
Size: 15-Pounds Color: Clear
I'm really not sure it's worth the money. You can catch plenty of fish on much more economical line. However, it does feel and cast like premium line. This is line I'll take more care of and pair with higher end setups where castability is a major factor (ie: short fishing and trying to hit those boils far out). ... show more

  • Really disappointed as a long time Invizx user. Stretchy as Mono and snaps too easily.
Size: 8-Pounds Color: Clear
No pictures, and not going to make this long as I'm extremely disappointed and more than a little annoyed. I've been upgrading my gear this year. I'm 50 and I've definitely learned if it is worth doing, it is worth doing with the best tools you can afford. I've fished Invizx for a very long time. I've seldom had any issues. If I have I can trace it back to something I've done wrong in putting it on a spinning reel. I bought 8lb for my BFS setup and 15lb to re-spool my standard MH setup. I've yet to fish the 15lb too much, but I went right out with the 8lb. I found a great little pond, I pulled a 3lb and a 2.6lb in under an hour. I tried to put a 1/8oz tungsten weight on a 1/0 hook on a mini craw to see if I could pick anything else up down deeper in the moss. I got hit hard set the hook fish tugged twice and pop. This wasn't timber and brush, this was grasses and moss. Fish couldn't have been all that big, no 10 pounders in this under 50 yard pond. The next day I went out to prove this was a fluke. Then I had more and more issues. I the line would wrap around the end of the rod. I had to break it off due to a hang up and it snapped back like a rubber band and wrapped all over everything. Low memory? After one day you'd think I was fishing a spinning reel and the line had been on there for 3 years in an Arizona garage. This was on an Shimano Aldebaran BFS reel. Taking it off, because of the expense, I decided to try and save some of it, so I had a Berkley XL 10 pound spool almost empty so I matched them up. Now, I know it is 2 pounds lighter, but it was even more stretchy. Also, the line seemed to have dug in on itself like braid and was very rough coming off. It did remind me even more of the Berkley line that was only for spinning reels as it could dig in like this. Interestingly, when it came time to take it off the reel I mimiced what the fish did of pull and then pop it and yup, snapped instantly and just as cleanly as it had with the fish. I have to say I've read a lot of other reviews and I found one from another BFS fisherman using the same reel, same weight, and had the exact same issues. Maybe it is better for leader only or spinning reels, but definitely not something I trust for BFS fishing. Why did this happen? I have no idea. It has been extremely hot and who knows how old the packaging was as I read one review where they had gotten a larger bulk spool and reported the first use of it was fantastic, but as it aged it seemd to get snappy like this, so I don't know, all I know is it was a huge waste of funds for 72 hours of very frustrating fishing. I hate to say this about a Seaguar product, but this is a huge avoid for me. ... show more

  • Hype line
Size: 8-Pounds Color: Clear
Going back to Pline flouroclear. I would not buy again. There is nothing wrong with the line, nothing that says it's the best on the planet either, or a must have. The price is great here if you want to try it and you NEED to use a fluorocarbon. Lined 8lbs up on 2x Okuma CBF 3000 on 2x Shimano Convergence 7'6" with Seaguar STS 6lbs fishing(highly recommended for leader line.) The 9'6 noodle w/ 12lbs Sunline (green) with Seaguar STS 6lbs had the same amount of hits going for lake trout in resovoir clear water. ... show more
