  • Good quality
Style: Small / 10 Liter
This seems like a pretty solid dry sack. I was able to stuff a regular sized Nemo Disco sleeping bag into and compress (just barely) with 3 wraps. I use mine for river camping, so I load this sack into a larger, heavier dry bag for good measure.

  • Love Sea to Summit dry bags
Style: X-small / 6 Liter
To be honest, I haven't taken this kayaking yet because it is a little bit overkill for a simple day trip. I use my Sea to Summit Big River 8L bag most of the time. It's bombproof. This compression dry sack is just a little too fiddly for routine use for me just for my snacks and a couple odds and ends. HOWEVER.... the weather is starting to turn, so I will be starting to pack another layer, gloves, things like that. This is going to be the bag for the poofy jacket. Given the quality of Sea to Summit dry bags in general, I am looking forward to taking this on a test paddle pretty soon. I am sure it will be great. ... show more

  • Compresses extremely well
Style: X-small / 6 Liter
I've really only used this for material similar to a sleeping bag but it's amazing how well it works. The permeable material it's made of is great because it expels air when compressing but keeps air and water from leaking in.

  • Not submersible
It is water resistant but not water proof, when you open the package it greets you with a small piece of paper that says it cant go under water. It compressed 30 liters down to 10 liters, but the 10 liters is a circular sphere

  • Waterproof and durable
Style: X-small / 6 Liter
When I got this I didn’t know it was also a dry sack! I am very happy with this purchase as it has great durability as a compression sack and kept all my important stuff dry while kayaking on the lake. I thought the price was kind of high but after getting a few uses out of it I will likely be buying more of these in the future. ... show more

  • Great product... almost
Style: X-small / 6 Liter
I was looking for a waterproof compression sack for my sleeping bag for backpacking trips (thinking more heavy rain than it falling in a river). The one thing I really like about this bag is it functions just how you would expect a compression sack to function, which is saying a lot considering it is also a dry bag. In particular, I was impressed that it will allow air to escape even when sealed. I liked it so much, I even got a second one for my clothes. I only have two suggestions: 1. Other compression bags have buckles on 2 of the straps (rather than just straps). This makes it a little easier to get the lid off quickly. That feature would make this perfect. -- See pict 2. I like this as a solution to make sure my backpack items stay dry (this task was previously relegated to ziplock bags). It would be nice if they came in different colors so I could tell the bundles apart. (e.g. blue socks, red shirts, etc...) ... show more

  • Needs an air release valve
I was excited when I found this because I’ve been wanting a dry sack/compression sack combo. This was exactly what I thought I would like, but there’s no way for the air to come out while you’re compressing it down with the straps. It needs a little twist valve on the side to let the air out as you compress it. It does work to make things smaller, but it would be so much better with air release capability. For reference, I have a women’s Kelty Cosmic 20 down bag and a large-ish wise owl camp pillow. I was able to get both of them in and compressed down to about the same size as my sleeping bag squished into the bag it came with. ... show more

  • Makes OneBag travel possible
Style: X-small / 6 Liter
This compression sack currently stores my winter coat, hat and a pair of wool socks while I one bag travel internationally and without this compression sack I would be hard pressed to be prepared for winter conditions and still fit everything into one pack. These are a go to essential.
