  • The best
Color: Grey Size: 35 Liter
If your questioning what to get stop scrolling you found it. Compacts down small, super light, holds up to a down pour, tough and just looks good.

  • Lighter and more compact than your average water proof stuff sack
Color: Grey Size: 13 Liter
I was surprised, with how light the stuff sack itself was. Personally, I use the 13L stuff sack for my sleeping bag and 3 sets of clothes (with room to spare). I might purchase a second smaller bag for cold weather gear.

  • Great all-around use bag!! Best dry sack I've used so far
I have both the 8L and the 13L, and they're both great! They've gone on two trips with me so far - 2 weeks of boating/snorkeling in tropical Philippines, and 1 week of camping & rafting in the dry Grand Canyon. What I like about these over other dry sacks is how light and easy to fold they are. I've used some others that feel very plasticy or rubbery and are harder to get a good fold out of it, consequently meaning I don't get it as small. If you're a backpacker or you have a small weight limit (mine is usually 10kg/20lb) on your travels, you really need your stuff to scrunch down. I LOVE the eVAC thing!!! You close and roll the bag as usual, and squeeze out the air. With the plastic/rubber dry sacks, you have to take out the air before rolling, and it's not as perfectly air-less as this Sea to Summit one. They've gotten splashed by rapids in the Canyon and waves of the deep ocean in the Philippines (I would sometimes carry it on my head while swimming to shore), and the interior was perfectly dry. It's recommended to use 2 bags, one over the other, to really make sure your stuff stays dry...which is why I bought 2 dry sacks. This works very well, but I wouldn't want to *really* test this, if you know what I mean. I put my cellphone, wallet, chargers, other electronics, and my big DSLR wrapped with a drylite towel in these things and they were 100% dry. If you're in a humid place, you may wanna have some silica gel in there too to absorb the humidity that'll get inside when you open the bag. Everyone I meet comments on how high quality this sack is. It's so worth it! 16L is pretty big; you can put a LOT of stuff in it. An extra change of clothes, sunscreen, whatever electronics and such you need to put in there. I haven't had a problem trying to fit things. The 8L fits my electronics and other quick-access things very well also, so if you don't have much stuff to house then I recommend the 8L...you'll have room to spare. If you wanna be really minimal, you can go even smaller, but I think 8L is good. Remember that you can always scrunch this bag down to be like 3" tall. ... show more

  • Not Confidence Inspiring Shipping
Color: Grey Size: 35 Liter
The box from Amazon wasn't in good condition. Even worse, the Sea To Summit product sleeve was really roughed up. The dry sack looks OK, but not good. There are dimples near the center fold lines. Maybe this got run over in the warehouse. Sea to Summit gear is usually very good, and other than the shipping damage, this seems well made. ... show more

  • bombproof backpacking drysack
Color: Grey Size: 13 Liter
I've had some 8L bags for ages. I carried 2 for 1500 miles on the appalachian trail in 2009 (it's now 2014). I've probably logged 2500 miles or more with one of those bags, including swimming rivers several times. I carried them in a 9 day drought-breaking rain in the smokies, I've carried them on 5 and 7 day trips where it rained the whole time in White Mountain National Forest. I carried these on the JMT. I've used them snow-camping at 25 below. I only own 3 because I've never had to replace one. I swear by these things. I think the first one I got now has a single pinhole leak, meaning after 30 minutes submerged with a down sleeping bag in it the down bag gets a touch damp. Translation: for most folks these will last a lifetime, and probably their kid's lifetime as well. If you're tired of silnylon "drysacks" (I've come to call them dampsacks), and you want something that'll keep your stuff dry (save a few drops if it's fully submerged for half an hour or more) while not weighing a ton, these fit the bill perfectly. Pack covers are for people who haven't dealt with real rain, or had to swim a river :D. If you are a kayaker looking for a kayak bag and you don't care at all about weight, get a "real" drybag. These are great, but the are not 100% if the bag is submerged for a long time unless you pack them very tightly. ... show more

  • Good light weight dry bag
Color: Pacific Blue Size: 35 Liter
I use it to store my hammock and sleeping bag for camping. As long as you don't abuse it, it will last. You can press out the air with the breathable fabric in the bottom as advertised. However, it will eventually let the air back in. Maybe over an hour or so? Stays watertight though. Great for cramming into my ILBE pack. ... show more

  • Great option
Color: Pacific Blue Size: 8 Liter
I use these to keep my down sleeping bags dry when backpacking. I bought three different sizes for different temperature rating bags and they all work perfectly. The eVent allows more flexibility when compressing the sleeping bag into the dry sack and when storing in your pack

  • High quality, light and functional
Color: Pacific Blue Size: 13 Liter
Really, really like the end that allows the air to be pushed out! I hate putting a dry sack or two in my backpack and having them take up so much extra room since you can never really get all the air out. Works great for my sleeping bag (which is what I bought it for) but have also been using it for other smaller things on day hikes. I have another thicker material dry sack that I used to use for all the small things in my pack (including my camera) but I find I am not using that one as this Sea to Summit sack is so much lighter and I can get the air out. If I wasn't putting the sack into my backpack I might use the heavy sack since I am assuming it would take more abrasion, but this Sea to Summit sack is perfect for use inside a pack - and yes I dunked it underwater and it stayed dry inside, so I have no worries when its inside my backpack. This feels and functions like a high quality product. I'm very happy with my purchase. ... show more
