Okay...so I waited a while before I wrote my review. I’ve been taking these supplements for more than 6 weeks. I’m pretty sure I’m on them for life. Yeah, they’re not cheap at about $1 a day, but boy they’re worth it. I’m a 54 year old fair-skinned female. For years my complexion has been getting redder and redder and my skin has been getting drier and drier. I wouldn’t say that I had Rosacea but I always looked flushed. After about 4-5 days on these supplements, it was like someone lifted the “red” filter off my skin. My face, neck and chest are now almost porcelain. I’ve had to alter my makeup colors. It’s too soon to mention any wrinkle reduction yet...but it’s looking good. Also, my incredibly dry skin is now very soft and supple. All over my body. I almost can’t believe it. I’ve spent thousands of dollars going to dermatologists and buying all sorts of lotions and creams which never worked. It’s even helped my T-zone, which used to have dry flaky skin instead of oily skin that most people have. Now I feel normal. To be fair, I did get a mild breakout on my chin for about 2 weeks but that’s dissipated. I’ve noticed that my energy has increased lately too. I’m doing more daily than I used to. Honestly, I feel like I’m 40 again... I’m colder than I used to be. I never had bad hot flashes, but I now have the colder extremities (fingers and toes) of someone with lower blood pressure. In fact, my blood pressure has gone down a bit. (I was almost prehypertensive and now I’m back into the normal range.). My mood seems better as well. Not that it was bad before, but I feel a general sense of well being and increased patience that I didn’t have before. As for the female lubrication effects, that’s improved greatly but I still require some supplementation. I didn’t gain any weight over the holidays...which may be attributed to these pills, but I’m still in the overweight stage (stupid menopause). I’m not obese. I’m now counting my calories and it seems like weight is starting to just fall off. So I think it’s a good aid to help me achieve my goal much faster. In short, these little orange pills have turned back the clock on so many things. I must have had a huge deficiency and inflammation that these pills helped alleviate. Don’t hesitate. Buy them. As vain as it sounds, I frequent beauty forums where less-mainstream methods of self-care are discussed. In one discussion about healthier skin, someone recommended taking a sea buckthorne oil supplement alongside a fish oil supplement to cover different omegas. I had no idea what sea buckthorne is, but I figured I'd buy a small bottle of it and give it a shot. I generally don't have high hopes about things, and I'm always wary of placebo effects...but by day 3 I could tell a difference. I have very dry eyes courtesy of PCOS and I usually have to take lubricant drops, but by day 3 of using this supplement with fish oil, I didn't need the drops for my eyes. By a week, my eyes were less red AND my skin was softer and felt healthier. When I was lazy and didn't take any of my vitamins or supplements for a few weeks, my eyes and skin both became very dry and irritated again. I'm really glad I listened to that commenter and gave these a shot. While I wince at the price, I do recommend this supplement. It works! ... show more

    • Fantastic stuff...but

I was amazed that within two weeks of taking this I saw all kinds of issues with hydration get better including dry eyes and my skin and other regions pretty amazing stuff I am on my third bottle however I noticed it is not working the same as it did before with the two capsules so I'm having to up the capsules to three or four a day anybody else have this issue? I wasn't sure if the product was a little different or if I just keep needing more of it otherwise I was pretty impressed and told a lot of people about it I would give it a try it is amazing! ... show more

    • Putrid smell

I have bought this product several times in the past and I haven't had any problems at all. But my last bottle had a more gamey aroma when I first opened it. After I consumed the soft gels It caused a really foul odor emanating from my body !!! Yikes !!! I tried going off it for a time then restarting to see if that terrible smell could perhaps have been caused by some other supplement. (None of the others created this putrid scent.) I tried lessening the daily dose but it STILL made my body stink. As time elapsed the bottle of soft gels became increasingly malodorous...just like that fish fertilizer plantfood...yuck ! Surprisingly I was actually brave enough to test it yet AGAIN just to see if it made that foul odor in my body. It did. At this point I am now so nauseous from the rotten fish smell that I can't stand to even OPEN the bottle anymore. It's too late to send it back so I'm out of luck there too. So, Beware of any foul aroma wafting from your newly opened bottle. If you have an experience like me be sure to report it within a months time so you can get it refunded. I'm truly NOT trashing this product, so please be aware that I usually have absolutely NO issues with it. I just want to save you from falling into the same trap that I did: not reporting it in a timely manner. I gave it too many chances, hoping it was just my imagination. Oh well. ... show more

I use this supplement for dry eyes and it has been really helpful. I have suffered from dry eyes from time to time depending on the climate I'm in, and it can cause a lot of discomfort. This supplement really helps, and I notice the effects quite quickly (within a week). It contains a natural source of omega 7, which is known to offer therapeutic benefits for mucus membranes. this product was offered at a lower price and I think I know why now. when I got them most of them were stuck together in the bottle with no moisture absorbing packet that usually is inside pill bottles. I had to very carefully unstuck the pills I wanted to take. just be aware when you are buying this. I realized it too late to return. still a GREAT product tho! Highly recommend for having more moisture happening in your body. wonderful. I take one or two per day with good results. ... show more
