I recently got an SDS-Plus rotary hammer-drill that came with a similar set of tools. I wanted to get these as a spare set because there is nothing worse than having to stop work on something to run to the hardware or big-box store to find a replacement for a tool in the middle of a job. I am a homeowner and DIY tinkerer, but live in a rural place, so an unexpected trip to find a replacement tool means two hours of driving plus time in the store. That said, these are fairly heavy construction from 40 Cro-Molly steel alloy, so plenty hard and decent length. With a point, flat, scaling and tile chisel, there is a complete set suitable for most home-owner DIY jobs. I can say from experience, there are many jobs that cannot be done as easily and quickly unless you use a hammer-drill. I now have a backup to the business end of my SDS-Plus hammer-drill so if a chisel should break, I can keep working and find another replacement at my leisure. ... show more

    • Nice set and has a good feel
Tested these by breaking up the concrete on a fence post I removed. Broke up the concrete enough for me to remove the post. They work as they should and I find them to be something I would order again.

SDS bits are ridiculously expensive. Just last week I paid the same price as this whole kit for a single chisel bit at a local hardware store! These are priced right! I used these today to break up some concrete that construction workers had lazily poured at the base of my back porch steps. These bits got the job done perfectly fine, but for a small job, they did start to wear. Overall I’m pleased, though. See the pictures I uploaded for the detailed look at the chisel tips. You could pay a lot more for a higher quality but if you’re a pro or maybe if you have a huge job to do, but for small household applications these will do a great job and should last you just fine. ... show more

I Use these with my Milwaukee SDS drill, and they work perfectly together. These chisels are incredibly durable and versatile. They made prepping mortar joints for pointing up a breeze, and removing tile from both walls and floors was much easier than expected. This is about as ordinary everyday chisel set as you can get. Nothing bad, nothing screams 'extra' ... just good steel chisels. Each one is about 10" long and fit into my sds with no issue. I've been repairing a lot of brick lately and these made quick work out of busting bricks out of the wall. Nothing fancy, just a nice steel bit. For the cost, I won't even feel bad about grinding new points on these if i every have to. ... show more

Just your average import chisel set for SDS Plus hammer drills. They fit the chuck perfectly and wear fairly well. Not the hardest steel but I got some pretty good life from them working with soft but very abrasive sandstone. The stone I work with doesn't chip or flatten chisels but, it will grind them down in no time if the chisel is too soft. These held up pretty well for the cost. ... show more

This is a really nice set of SDS demo chisels. Dropped right into my Bosch SDS and made quick work of a tile entry set on a mortar bed. Nice smooth action that left me able to just tile over again with no issues to the mortar bed. Great size assortment, would like to of had a 4-6" chisel for larger format tile demo but these are great products and well made and met all my expectations. My sds drill did not come with any bits. This is a decent a first set. Wider flat chisel to a fine point. They chucked fine into my sds plus, and sds max adapter chuck.
