Amazon shoppers - let’s get real here. I spent $3 and some change on this thing. If it keeps my toilets even 1% cleaner than they were, I still win. I’ll update after a few days, but upon initial deployment, here are the results: Negative: it’s a mess if you don’t carefully follow the instructions. I didn’t, and ended up with gel goo all over myself. When inserting the wand thing into the goo, do it gently and don’t press too hard. One notch! Positive: the instructions also tell you this, so if you read them you should be ok. Negative: since I did t read the instructions, I got the goo everywhere. It was then difficult to stick it inside of the toilet bowl. See pic, which shows how not to do this. Positive: several reviews mention strong smells. They also reference various scent options, which I don’t remember selecting. Anyway, mine came in “Fresh” scent. Let me just confirm, Fresh scent smells WAY better than dirty toilet scent. So let’s just get past that point. But really, it’s not that strong, and I sorta like it. Not like a White Barn candle good, but again, $3! Final verdict: just buy it. I dont use these in the toilet anymore bc I can't get the pets to stop drinking from them but they work great in other places like the inside lid of the trash cans. Confuse the trash man when he opens the cart and it smells like fresh rain. Nothing over powers the strong smell of the diaper genie like these and trust me I've tried it all as we just had baby #7 instead of holding my breath for a few min while it dissipates after changing and throwing away the diaper I'm hit in the face with the fresh rain scent that over powers any diaper explosion and quickly dies down after the diaper genie lid is back down. ... show more

All toilets are disgusting, these just make toilets slightly less disgusting. I've been using a similar product but went through them too fast. This wand (or clicker?) offers 6 in 1 wand which is about 1/2 the price I was spending on a competitive brand. So far they've been easy to use and have helped with toilet bowl rings. If you're unable to use bleach tablets in your tank I recommend these in place. Also, follow your directions closely and mount these on the inner side of the toilet bowl to avoid any spray. I found out the hard way. My only complaint is the smell. I don't know what is added, but it would be great to use these without a strong cleaner smell. Maybe it could be masked if baking soda was added to the formula? ... show more

This has a VERY strong scent to it that does not dissipate. It works pretty durn well keeping the toilet cleaner between brushings, but the odor it produces is VERY strong. I'm generally sensitive to scents, so I probably won't use this product after it runs out and I was considering not even finishing using it after the first application. I thought the smell would go away after a few hours, but it's been about 2+ weeks since applying it and it's still lingering. It would probably bother someone whose bathroom doesn't have very good ventilation, whether or not they were sensitive to scent or not. It's that strong. ... show more

Ever had food poisoning, if so then you know how much in your suffering it means to have a toilet that has something keeping it fresh. I read some reviewers complaining on the “strong smell” and if you had your face in it and were nauseous which would you rather smell: lingering pee smell or cleaner smell? I have had food poisoning (3) times in my life and only once was my suffering by a low quality toilet.....after that my toilets are as fresh and clean as I can keep them. ... show more

LOVE IT. I read some of the iffy reviews and ordered it anyway. I have a full house! Who has time to scrub toilets constantly! Is my toilet still clean?? My toilets are still perfectly clean! Does it smell? Yes, but its a clean fresh scent. I like it. Is it still attached n slowly dissolving as advertised? YES it appears to be. Is the gel wand heavy duty? No, but its not like I'm handing it to a 5 yr old to play with. Is it easy to use? Yes, any normal person can figure it out without looking at any directions. Will I buy it again? I ADORE these. Please let me set the record straight. MANY are complaining it all comes out , it is messy and that it is not 6 stamps but a blob ; all of which is Incorrect IF you actually read the Directions it DOES come out as 6 stamps. Do NOT push hard when applying the stamp the package tells you this. Several also report a chemical smell; personally I have never had a chemical smell ( 7 packs now used ) What I DO have is a pleasant, clean smell ( much like fresh linen, think of line hung ,sun dried sheets. ) I am SO Thankful I found these and plan to never be without them. Our most used bathroom is small, if we keep the door closed to it when not in use once you open the door to step inside it greets you with Clean, Fresh scent. I do not find it strong at all ( you might) my Mom has a very low smell tolerance and even she loves these. Let me share a tip as well; if you or a loved one uses a potty chair these can be a help; also stamp one inside your garbage can. They are great for a RV as well I even stamp them in the top of my Cats covered litter pan ( GO me ) . They DO NOT mean you do not have to clean your toilet ever... start with a clean toilet... these will help keep them clean; NOT clean them when they were already dirty/stained. SO End Results.. These do what they claim, They smell Lovely and make my Life EASIER. Spend the under 4.00 and give them a try; but READ THE DIRECTIONS. If this was Helpful Please give it a like/helpful rating. I loved this product a few years ago, it cleaned my toilet quite well and the scent was subtle when I flushed. Now it is pretty much a clear decorative stink bomb that doesn't clean anything. The scent is horrifically overpowering and gave me a headache. I had no idea the scent was like that or I would not have purchased this again. Was it easy to install? Sure. But it's a useless product unless you just love that fake sweet scent that permeates outhouses. ... show more
