  • Works awsome
I was very accurate with it and it fit perfectly and comfortable

  • Great for the money!
I don’t normally write reviews but I figured I would put in my two cents. I have been shooting archery all my life, and for the money I would recommend this release to anyone. I bought it for my son who has been shooting for about a year now. However I figured would try it out before handing it over because I was a little worried about some of the reviews I had read. Here are my thoughts on some of those concerns. 1. Hair trigger. I like the sharpness of this release. Yes it is quick when you pull the trigger, but only in a good way! It doesn’t just release on its own or anything like that. You can still rest your finger on the bar and pull when ready and it responds immediately which is exactly what I want. 2. Allen wrench size. If you’ve been shooting at all with sights you’ve had to use a small Allen wrench to adjust the individual pins. This release uses exactly the same size Allen as my sight pins. So all was is good there. 3. Release being on a rope, and flopping around instead of on a stiff rod. I have always used a release on an adjustable rod that lays in my hand and is easy to attach to the string. With this one being on a loose string it made it a little harder to get a hold of in my hand and line it up with my D-loop. My resolution to this was to put a little heat shrink tubing on the strings once I found what length I wanted and now it lays perfectly and lines up easily. 4. Wrist Strap It’s fine. It is made out of sturdy leather and will take a little time to break in, but it beats a velcro strap like most other cheap releases. So all in all I give this release a 4.5 out of 5. It needed a little tweaking, but what doesn’t. For the money it is a 6 out of 5. Update: I decided to go ahead and buy one for myself as well, because of how much I like this release! It's always good to have a backup! ... show more

  • It works. The rest is personal.
I am not a professional archer so this is coming from a regular guy. It’s a 40$ release and for that money I’d say it’s outstanding. It does what it should and the remainder is personal preference. Cons: Needs to come with an Allen to adjust Pros: inexpensive and reliable Now for the preferences and people get so lost in this but here we go. It’s a light release compared to most others I have tried. Think hair trigger but it’s very crisp and has a solid feel that I personally like. Not good for entry youth. It does not spring closed meaning it doesn’t always want to stay closed and I prefer the spring closed type but this does ensure you have a good clip on the d ring or else it will release. The wrist strap is not comfortable and the belt style adjustment leaves a lot of adjustments off the table. I personally fall between two holes and we all know how bad that can be. I spent a fair amount of time flipping it, adjusting it and tucking extra cord to get it to fit. All this said let’s remember it’s <40$ and for that price it’s outstanding. If you want better by a marginal amount you will spend twice as much or more. I own 8 different units and this is the best under 100$ for me. ... show more

  • Great release
I harvested my first white tail with this release. I actually bought a much more expensive release but I always come back to this one. Maybe one day I’ll try a more expensive one from Scott, but the quick shot is great.

  • Trigger is not light but to be expected for cheap release. 5/5
I liked the simplicity of it and that it's not in the way. Downside also is that because it's not fixed position, you have to be quick if you want a shot on an animal. Trigger is heavy. for the $, reasonable and feels like good quality.

  • Best release for the money
I've shot over a thousand shots with this release, and there is no wear at all on my D-Loop. Comfortable (take the time to break it in it it feels stiff at first), adjustable, and all around more than worth it for the price. Really can't say enough good things about it. 11/10 from my experience. Buy it if you want a quality release on the cheaper side. ... show more

  • Outstanding accuracy!
I'm not the kind of person who believes in wasting money with unnecessarily overpriced gear, hence why I got this release, it's very very sensitive at first, so I had to make a few adjustments with a 0.50 Allen key to get the amount of travel where I wanted it, pair this up with my Prime RVX 32 and it's damn perfect! It's precise, accurate and smooth, and definitely a hell lot better than the previous releases I've been shooting with in the past. ... show more

  • Great release for the price
I still actively use this release, but I've gotten used to it. The adjustable cord stretches slightly over time so I've had to readjust it a few times in the short time I've owned it. The trigger itself is responsive and tight, and the strap is comfortable.
