I used this on a 75W amp at about 10 feet. I upgraded to a 300W Alpine amp and still used this wire and it works perfectly fine for over two years now. Regardless if this is thinner or is made from aluminum, it works fine for the recommended amperage. It's super long too and gives you everything you will need. Kit came with everything needed to install an amplifier and subwoofer. One thing to know is that the red 12v may not be long enough for some. It's long enough for a mid-size sedan.

This is the 2nd one I bought I returned the first one in exchange for the 4 Aug wire kit because my amp is 1600 watts max but only 400 RMS so I bought this one and it has 2 sets of rca cables. I have 4 coming out of my head unit that being said everything is good quality and for the price you can't go wrong. I recommend buying it. Just my opinion though. ... show more

everything was perfect with this kit, except the rcas they looked very cheap when i opened the package, noticed one of the rca connectors was broke as the center pin was missing the metal cap so it didn't work, i had another set of rcas so i used those.
