Ordered this, with a dash radio wire kit and antenna adapter. Removed the factory bezel (it’s very easy only 2 screws above the odometer, tile the wheel down and be careful when pulling over hazard switch) EVERYTHING IS OLD if you are working on this Year vehicle so BE CAREFUL, things break. Removed old radio and heater control, detached the lower tray from the factory radio with a 10mm socket, install carefully with provided screws, don’t over tighten or it will snap, insert the tray provided and use a flat screwdriver to adjust the tabs to lock. Re install and locate your wires for easy access when pushing in the radio, ale sure to leave a provision for your microphone if applicable (I left mine in the tray) Clean easy 1, 2 threeasy ... show more

I ordered this to install an aftermarket stereo in my SUV. Fit is ok, but stereo fits really tight in the opening which forces the stereo forward so much that you can still see some of the metal chassis even with the trim ring installed. Plastic is flimsy. Overall it works for what I need but just not a great fit. ... show more

exactly what it says. my only issue was that it was sill to me to have the one opening on the kit and then have the second one below it from stock. although I suppose a hole is better than no hole. I would be interested to see some options for it such as a flat piece to mount switches to or something. but yea hooked on good didnt need to cut anything all in all a great durable product ... show more

    • Its a marginal product and you have to use the flimsy slide in mount for the radio.

On every other face plate like this I have ever installed, you're able to either use the flimsy stamped metal piece that comes with the radio or screws to secure the radio to the new plastic harness. On this one, you have to use that flimsy metal piece that sits in this plastic plate by bending over small tabs. It works only marginally well. In my case the radio moves around a little bit which is irritating to me. The radio also sits proud of this mount by a good 3/8", which is not a big deal to me but it is apparently to some. Also, on a single DIN (I don't know if this can be used for a double DIN), you have to re use the factory pocket as well as the pocket supplied in this kit. You wind up with two pockets in the end. ... show more

I used this in a 96 s10 blazer, and it worked ok, as with all scoshe install kits, it was a bit flimsy, and felt like it might buckle under the weight of my deck. the pocket underneath is wasted space, s-series gm's of this generation all have pockets already, and the one on this install kit is only big enough to hold a cd case. having the extra pocket underneath makes it not possible to bend the radio cage tabs on the bottom out.. it will work, but there are better kits out there. i would recommend metra over scosche any day, but this kit did its job ... show more
